BlueRigger 1x2 Toslink Splitter

Working well...

This item is good but while connecting input to the T.V.and 2 output one connected optical cable to the RCA cable to the Home Theatre and other output optical cable to the HD rush box. The sound was coming through RCA but from other out the sound was not coming. I think it's one output was not working. Hence I need a excellent blue rigger for my home theatre. Please provide me the best blue rigger. Thanks to Amazon.

I wanted to have optical audio spitter for my lg tv out put audio and transfering optical audio to (1) my lg sound bar sj 3 and (2) Tetrowss BT to Sennheiser nc head phone.And I selected Bluerigger splitter 1*2. I connected as per the details provided by respective maufactures.Initially I had connectivity probles but with the help of superb quality service support of lg and bluerigger I am very happy of the excellent performance of bluerigger splitter.Sound quality excellent- to the entire satsfaction of what I wanted.Product design-durable built quality- simplicity of connections to the compatible gadegts-compactness and overall product quality are up to full satisfaction.Only the cable length of splitter should have been more for more easy connectons.I recommand without any hesitation to go for the Bluerigger Splitter 1*2

I bought two speakers and wanted to play both simultaneously along with my TV speakers. First I bought this passive splitter from bluerigger since its optical cable quality is quite good. But that passive splitter miserably failed to give out any useful audio signal. My speakers would cry coarse from the audio signal received through the bluerigger splitter. The source of single was very expensive 4k TV from LG and Sony. So no question on the quality of signal from source. Then I researched on internet and found that a active(externally powered) splitter would do the trick. I searched on Amazon and found that Musesonic splitter which was active and had good user reviews. I bought that and it is working fine since the last three months. I can get sound out from my TV and two different speaker set at the same time for a cinematic sound experience. So if you want to give audio optical signal to two different speaker from a common source, this active splitter will do the trick. And yes it can be USB powered. It can be USB of your TV or speakers. I power it through speaker USB and it is working fine. So if this passive splitter is not able to give good sound output at speakers, go for any active externally powered splitter.

I purchased it to connect TV's optical output to amplifier and bluetooth transmitter. However, it did not work in my case even after replacing the product once. I tried to connect them separately too (TV and amplifier or TV and bluetooth transmitter) but even then it did not work as amplifier was not receiving input from TV and in case of bluetooth transmitter no sound input was coming to headphone.

Tried in reverse. Giving two inputs (one at a time) to a single output (5.1 home theater), but only one input was working, even though only one was connected at a given time, disconnecting the other. Bought it after confirming with the supplier. Returned the product immediately. Thanks to Amazon for promptly taking it back and returning the payment.

I needed a TOSLINK splitter to be able to connect both my Bose Cinemate II sound system as well as my Sennheiser RS175 headphones to my Sony Bravia TV. I was using the Sony headphone output for the RS175, but somehow got dropouts as of recently and was no longer satisfied with the sound. After reading the reviews and that this specific (passive) splitter might not work, I was a bit concerned. However, I can gladly report that it works fine and was very easy to install. Plugging the cables in might take a bit more effort than usual, but they sit tight, and the sound quality on my headphones is now much better. I ordered a 2m BlueRigger TOSLINK cable at the same time and am very happy. Thank God I did not to have to buy a powered one, as I am running out of sockets. ;-) Can recommend. Price seems to be on the lower end compared to the competition.

No issues, split the toslink out of my computer to go to two separate amplifiers with no delay between the two. Was getting a very slight delay when using toslink for one amp and RCA for the other

I used the splitter to connect the optical output on an LG TV to a Bose 700 soundbar and a device that allows one to receive sound from the TV directly to hearing aids, This allows people not wearing hearing aids to control the sound from the sound bar at a level they want while allowing the person with hearing aids to indendently control the sound to the hearing aid. it was easy to setup too.
