Coffee Gator Coffee Canister, 1300 ml Airtight Stainless Steel Container

I bought this Coffee Gator 900 ml canister as a Christmas gift for my partner to help manage her coffee habit. We already own two of the larger Coffee Gator canisters, and this smaller one is ideal for overflow beans or when she buys a smaller bag. Build quality is excellent. The stainless steel feels solid and high quality, and the airtight seal does a good job of keeping coffee fresh. It looks good on the counter and matches the larger versions nicely, which was important since they’re all kept together. The size is genuinely useful rather than redundant. It works well for smaller bags or rotating beans without having to open a large container. It’s also easy to clean. The smooth stainless interior doesn’t hold smells and wipes out quickly, which is important for something used daily. Overall, good value for money and very well made. A practical, high-quality canister and a great gift for anyone serious about their coffee.

Since getting my first bean-to-cup coffee machine, I’ve realised there’s a bit more to storing coffee beans than simply folding over the top of the bag. After reading about the best way to keep beans fresh, these canisters looked as though they ticked all the right boxes. Once they arrived, I was very pleased with the quality of the canisters. The clamp closes securely and the lid seals well, so they inspire confidence that they’ll keep air out. I also like the date wheel in the lid. It’s quick to set and means I can easily keep track of when the coffee beans were roasted. They are fairly large, although that suits me because I get through quite a lot of coffee. I bought the pair so I could keep two different types of beans ready to use, and they’ve worked out really well for that. They also look stylish sitting on my worktop beside the coffee machine. At the current price, I think they’re well worth buying. They’re exactly what I was looking for and have fitted into my coffee setup from day one.

I decided to get two of these smaller Coffee Gator canisters instead of one large one. It means I can either keep two different types of coffee on the go or, when I buy in bulk, keep one canister sealed for maximum freshness while I work through the other. This approach also minimises the amount of air the grounds are exposed to, which you wouldn't get with a half-empty larger tin. The canisters themselves look great and feel very well made. They certainly do a much better job of keeping my coffee fresh compared to the basic bags, tins or jars coffee often comes in, thanks to the airtight seal and the CO2 valve. It's a nice touch that they include a generous number of replacement filters (four in the box), so they should last a good while. The containers are easy to use, and easy to clean once you've finished your grounds. I did notice a couple of minor imperfections. The numbers on the date tracker dial on one of my canisters are noticeably off-centre, though this isn't a feature I personally use. They also stack, but the indent for the dial on the lid creates a slight wobble; a firmer design for stacking would be a welcome improvement. I imagine you could still comfortably stack three or four of these without much wobbbe. These are small points on what is otherwise an excellent storage solution.

I am so incredibly happy with this Coffee Gator canister! I was so impressed with the quality and stylish look that I ended up buying two—one for my coffee beans and one for my ground coffee. The brushed stainless steel finish is beautiful and looks fantastic on my coffee bar. The quality of the canister is top-notch. The lid has a fantastic seal that you can feel, and it does an amazing job of retaining freshness. I love the addition of the CO2 filters in the lids, and the movable stainless steel date wheels are a brilliant feature for tracking how long my coffee has been stored. This is a must-have for any coffee lover who wants to keep their beans and grounds fresh. Super happy with my purchase and I highly recommend it!

Cleaning is straightforward, and the lid mechanism still feels tight and secure after repeated opening. While it is slightly more expensive than basic storage tins, the build quality and freshness retention justify the price if you care about coffee quality. Overall, it is a well designed, functional container that delivers exactly what it promises.

I purchased this coffee storage canister from coffee gator to replace a basic container (essentially tupperwear and a basic ceramic pot) which I felt didn't maintain the freshness of my coffee beans and left me with stale tasting coffee. The thing that sets this canister apart from other containers is the filter and ability to vent out the carbon dioxide (which beans naturally emit) that spoils the beans. It does this at the same time as keeping coffee spoiling oxygen out. The filters it comes with are effective (yay – no more stale coffee) and last a really long time. Should you need a replacement you can easily purchase more online (though this might take some years as there are a number of replacements included with the initial purchase). There’s a handy date wheel on the top (which I haven’t really had need for to be honest) that is super easy to use and gives you a useful reminder of when your coffee might be past its best. Most people reading this won’t have that kind of problem I expect. The container’s stylish and a kind of brushed steel. It seems to be solidly made and has lasted well for the time I have had it with no signs of deterioration. It slots nicely into my cupboard though it would also look pretty nice sitting on a counter. It comes with a handy scoop for the beans (30ml/1/8cup) which is great for transporting them from canister to grinder and I find gives the right amount for a cup. The canister and the scoop are a real doddle to clean. All in all, this is a fantastic purchase for coffee aficionados who want to have the best coffee they possibly can. Coffee-lovers would love receiving this as a gift. Your tastebuds will thank you. 5/5 excellent product that does a great job at keeping my coffee fresh. I only drink 1 cup of ground coffee a day so bought this to store the beans. It works well, is nicely made and reasonably priced. I think it would be fine for ground coffee as well. Recommended.

Alors pour faire simple cette boîte et d'une très bonne qualité et vraiment hermétique et laisse passer le CO2 qui est émis par le café. --- Il y a quatre petits filtres a CO 2 supplémentaires au cas ou ;) --- Elle est très belle... Non ? --- Alors lorsque l'on ouvre la Boite on a un parfum merveilleux de café frais c'est super le café est très bien conservé donc très Bon ;) --- La cuillère doseuse est simplement parfaite la quantité est exacte pour par exemple une capsule a remplir de Se**eo. --------------------- Donc je conseille sincèrement ces boites de conservation ---------------------------------

Sehr gute und solide Verarbeitung aus hochwertigen Materialen. Kanister reicht für 250 G Kaffee, ist dicht and sehr ästhetisch. Nach mehr als einem Jahr keine Spuren der Abnutzung. Super Preis-Leistung Verhältnis.

Sehr gut verarbeitet, schickes Design. Lässt sich selbst mit einer Hand gut verschließen, da die Hebellasche lang genug ist und gut greift. Das Datumsblatt ist außerdem eine hilfreiche und innovative Funktion. Die Bohnen bleiben schön frisch und verlieren weniger Aroma. Der beiliegende Löffel aus Metall wirk auch sehr wertig.
