It's hard to get a good photo because of contrast ratios, and I did not want to do too much filtering as that would alter the actual colors; the appearance is deeper and and the colors richer than pictured here. This is a tremendous improvement over the builder-basic frosted white globe that made this hallway look like it belonged in a seedy office corridor. The stained glass light does not provide extremely bright illumination, but with fairly bright LED candelabra bulbs it serves its purpose and really warms up the space. One note on installation, and this is not the fault of the product but of my non-geometrical house. If you don't have the globe perfectly level with the ceiling (which may happen because your electrical box is not level) the halo emanating from the light will be out-of-round as it shines on the ceiling. It's an easy fix...just pick yourself up a couple of washers to raise the lower side, if there is one. Actually, I just stuck the small sample of stained glass that came with the lamp between the high point of the stained glass cover and the ceiling and the globe was perfectly level after three seconds of work. It's completely invisible from any angle.

I am very pleased with the colors and weight of this ceiling light. It seems to be made very well! I cannot review for you how the install went, because we haven't had them installed yet as we are building a new home and it isn't ready for lighting! I did purchase 3 of these lights in different designs, and they are all beautiful! If you love stained glass Tiffany type lighting, you will not be disappointed!

Easy to install 10 minutes

I bought this light for our guest bedroom, and I think it really upgraded the space. The colors and quality of the light are very pretty. It looks very high quality for the price. I am very happy with it.
