I really wish you sold the stones separately. I use these to make rings for my business and whenever my most popular color runs out I have to buy a whole new box. Also since they're irregular shaped and natural I'm not able to use a lot of them for my purpose. Once I find as many as I can use there's still like half the compartment full of each color. I'm hoping to find another use for them so they're not wasted. Other than that, they are really beautiful and natural looking. I've only found a few where the hole was too close to the edge and they've broken. And for how many good ones I use, that's great! I couldn't run this business without this brand so thank you so much.

I have been purchasing crushed/chipped bead stones for many years to adorn my suncatchers with, and I must say that Beadnova's stones are the most beautiful. That is, until they are worked with, and looked at more closely. The lapis lazuli and turquoise in the 15 assorted chip pack are not authentic. They are dyed, and bleed when wet. I have also purchased the lapis lazuli bead strings (among others). They seem of much higher quality, and did not bleed under water like the ones found in the assortment pack. Also, the opal is noted as being admittingly synthetic in the product description. Sadly, it looks nothing like authentic opal; in fact, it looks like cheap plastic, and is a poor quality knock-off.To spite the two or three bunk stone groups in the variety pack, some of the stones included are authentic and stunning such as the amethyst, which are large and tumbled to a perfect, natural looking finish, and the mookaite, which are bold, rich and beautiful.The value pack contains approximately 60-65 pieces of each stone, and comes in the most perfect 6" x 4" x 1" well made plastic case. This is certainly enough stones for a bracelet per stone type, and if you want to mix stones you will be able to create multiple necklaces etc. If you want to delve into a larger product I suggest purchasing longer strings of stones, which seem to be more genuine than some of the stones in the assortment pack.Sometimes the value pack is available via Prime for shipping which is a plus since Beadnova ships from China. It took just under two weeks to receive my bead strings, but it was well worth the wait for the quality found in the strings.

Lovvveeeeeee these! I was going to get something similar for $13 with more stones but upon those reviews, people said that most holes for the stones were badly placed and I felt I had to pay for what I wanted. So I spent the $20.99 and boy and I PLEASED!!! They ARE real stones exactly as described. All beads are usable because the holes are perfectly placed and they are just perfect. Thank you!

Really great assortment of precious stone chips. The cover is not flush with the container so some of the chips got a little scattered on the way here, but they were easy enough to identify and sort when I looked back at the product listing here on amazon. Some of the beads have chipped further near the bead holes and are therefore not able to thread anymore, but I've put them aside for other purposes. Some of the stones are irregularly cut and others are more uniform, it really depends on the stone. They make a great addition to any natural jewelry piece though.

Purchased as a gift for my wife who makes jewelry. These stone chips were beautiful. With a few exceptions, almost every chip hole was drilled thoughtfully in a way that resisted fracture and made sure the stones remained secure to the jewelry you are making.

I love these beads - I do not understand why so many negative reviews have been posted. They are small, duh, they are irregularly shaped, duh, and the holes are small.. DUH!!! They are meant to be and created that way! I don't even care if they aren't all "real" gemstones, they make perfectly good jewelry that I am able to sell.The were shipped well, no disorganization or out of place beads.I have 0 complaints!!!

These are exactly as described. Some chips are large & beautifully shaped for jewelry. Some are tiny, the colors aren't as nice, & are a little more difficult to work with. Overall though, these are definitely worth the purchase price and I will buy again! If I could, I would give this 4.5 stars.

these stones are great to add onto my grand daughters hair clips just the right size - good quality even though some of the stones are synthetic which is a little disappointing.
