Intex C330 Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools: 330 GPH Pump Flow Rate – Improved Circulation and Filtration – Easy Installation – Improved Water Clarity – Easy-to-Clean

I built a 100 gal (filled to approx 80 gal) DYI Cold Plunge and after doing my research to find the most effective & efficient way to keep the water clear & most importantly- clean, I settled on the Intex 350 GPH filter. I found this one on Amazon Warehouse for only $18!! It comes with everything needed including a filter (which can be washed and reused if not too dirty) but on warehouse you can find replacements all the time for only a few $. Once set up and you all the connections are properly sealed and the air is out of the lines, it runs beautifully. I run it for only two hours overnight using the “timer”. Keep in kind you may need to run it a bit longer upon initial set up and depending on how often you use your Plunge. To be transparent - my DYI turned out so well my son wants to replicate my set up (everything including the tub cost me no more than $160). Amazon a warehouse had a 350 gph Intext filter for $23 but they also had several Intex 1,000 gph for $26, so I am upgrading but only because I found a deal, my current filter works beautifully - which I’m keeping as a back up. I highly recommend the Intex products for your DYI cold plunge / spa - best of luck!

I love this filter. I have a pool that does not have holes for the hoses to fit in. Instead I used some plastic weights that you can make from plastic bottles filled with sand and I glued the lids on and then I tied the bottles onto the bottles with strong string. BE PATIENT WHEN FIRST STARTING THE FILTER. YOU NEED TO PRIME THE PUMP. I USED MY GARDEN HOSE AND FILLED IT THAT WAY. THEN I PUT THE FILTER HOSE IN THE POOL AND MADE SURE THERE WAS WATER GOING IN THE FILTER HOSE. I TOOK THE GARDEN HOSE OUT OF THE FILTER HOSE AND MADE SURE THAT THE POOL WATER WAS GOING INTO THE FILTER HOSE. THIS IS A GOOD FILTER. IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO MAKE THE POOL HOSES TO FILL FULLY RIGHT AWAY. IT NEEDS TO WORK THE AIR OUT COMPLETELY. THIS WILL TAKE TIME AND JUST BE PATIENT. JUST MAKE SURE THERE IS WATER GOING THROUGH THE FILTER. I only wrote the instructions that helped me out in capital letters to help read the directions that had helped me get my filter going. I know how frustrating things maybe if it doesn't happen right away. Just make sure there is water going through the filter at all times. My pool is 160 gallons and is perfect for it and I would definitely buy the filter again. I have it plugged into a large extension cord that is made for outside use only. I have the cord plugged into an outside outlet. I noticed that when I plugged in the cord the filter did not go on. I had to reset the plug because the night before it rained and since it has a water saftey mode on the plug I just pressed the reset button on the cord.

I bought this filter pump for my Aquadoo Family Swimming Inflatable Pool,118" X 72" X 22". I just held it down with the pool cover, although I did remove the cover later on and it stayed, probably because I had it up on the chair rather than the floor. When I first turned it on I could hear the motor running but not pumping, after trying and trying, reading the instruction over and over, I figured out the air valve actually need it to be closed, and the hoses and unit filled with water. This would happen with a pool designed to be used with this pump anyways. I liked that it has a timer, however, it doesn't shut off after the timer ends, it doesn't even move, so I'm not sure what the purpose of a timer is. Overall great pump, looking forward to keeping my pool water clean and clear!

6 years ago we bought our daughter a pool it’s the intex 12 foot around 30 inches deep. The pool is still in great shape however the filter pump has died so I order this the description seemed as though the filter pump would the exact same that we had but instead when I arrived that was not the case the pump itself was shorter and smaller than the original also the filter cartridge inside was about quarter the size as the filter cartridge from our original pump. Also this filter pump set up costs the same amount as the entire pool cost me when I bought it 6 years ago. This pump leaked VERY BAD after my husband installed it mind you my husband is a pool man yes he works for a pool company so he knows EXACTLY what to do. Or course my husband had to find the root of the problem while I was saying F this it’s crap I’m returning it after literally 1 minute he sees the washer that is supposed be on the inner ring of the pump was not on and because it was never in the box to begin with. Bottom line I don’t know if this item would have worked properly considering the size I don’t think it would but now I will never know all thanks to a missing washer that was never put on in the first place.

I actually ordered this one to replace the one that came with the pool that I bought 2 months before. That one stopped working after only 2 months. I knew that it must have just been one of those things because I have used their products for years and have never had any problems, and this new pump is working just fine.

At first I was like is this thing working because it is so quiet. It does a great job on the pool. Had pool covered for over a week and when uncovered pool was is great shape. Easy to install, i did it myself a 70 yo grandmother.

I've had 4 different Intex pumps over the years and replace every 2 years due to quality / failures (These things are terrible). This one is the worst and I decided to return it. I have a 30" 10' circular pool that came with the same size pump that failed after 1 year. This replacement unit constantly sounds like its gasping for water as air gets stuck in the outflow tube. The unit is confirmed sealed, I release the pump top screw to prime / release air and the loud sound never goes away, air makes its way back into the tube. Happy my child is getting older so I can stop paying my annual subscription to Intex.

Bought for my cold plunge. Moves a good bit of water and I like that the timer is built right into the plug. Filter seems to work well and can be washed off and reinserted.
