I have had this cookbook for a few years and love the recipes for my husband and me because they are so easy. Yes, not just for children! Loved it so much, I bought another one for my 10 year old grandson who is now an aspiring chef. He loves it too and can really identify with Jack!

I purchased 6 copies of this book as gifts. Graduation, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and Just Because. The feed back from the book is 100% positive. All those whom cooked up Jack's recipes in this book raved about how good it taste and how simple and fun it was to creat a delish dish. The passion for cooking continues to grow with Twist it up. With many hopes that Jack will feed us more! In support, I'm purchasing more hard copies for the local elementry school kids and one digital copy for my daughter who was upset with me because I purchased a digital copy for myself and not for her too.It's a wonderful thing when parents and children come together in the kitchen and share a common passion...cooking. Simply Yum!

My 10 and one half year old grandson really liked the book and the fact that is was written by a boy not too different in age from him. He immediately wanted to try out the recipe for mac and cheese.

I was looking for a cookbook for my 10 year old granddaughter when this book was discovered. Written by a boy who became interested in cooking while receiving treatments for cancer and watching TV cooking shows, it has recipes that are interesting and leave a child with knowing he/she has made more than s'mores. The story behind the book (included at the front of the book) and recipes make this an interesting book for an adult or child.

I bought this cook book as a gift for my 13 year old grand daughter. She has made every recipe in the book in the past month, The recipes are easy to prepare and taste great. She cooks dinner several nights a week. Her 11 year old brother has also used the cook book and thinks cooking is great fun. It sure has helped my son and daughter-in-law who work out of the house. It has taught my grand children how to plan meals, make a grocery list and cook meals for the family. Great christmas gift or birthday gift.

Simple, well written cookbook with delightful photos of the recipes and personal photos of the young man and his family. I have seen this young chef on several shows and find him to be a true delight. I love the taste of the food and the simplicity of preparing the recipes. I expect we will see and hear a lot more from this amazing chef. He is a delight! Well done, Chef Jack!

I bought this book for my eight year old grandson who likes to cook. It was written by another young boy with a very interesting backstory (covered in the book), so the recipes are age appropriate and the kinds of things young people and their families would eat. My grandson is quite pleased with it and has already been planning some meals for his family.

My rating is based on the fact that a young child could compile such wonderful recipes. They are very easy to make. I recommend it to all my friends💞 👏
