Honest thoughts
I was told I had to stop twirling the knives at work as it made others uncomfortable and it wasn't safe. . . So got this as an adult fidget spinner. I don't have nor inspired to own a real butterfly or bala -whatever knife so can't say how accurate it is for training. But it is pretty fun and feels like "tricks" just more or less happen on there own, plus keeps my hands busy. I figured it would be a wobbly, loose, cheap feeling toy but even with over 6-8 hours a day of flopping, dropping, slamming, twirling, spinning, and flipping, it's as good as the day I got it. I almost want to try to break it at this point but then my bored hands would be lonely.

This is nice and perfect weight
This is a good trainer. The weight and balance is good and so is the metal. Looks real and feels real

Pin fell out, how to fix / solve
Loving this thing so far, only issue. A pin fell out. The one that is circled. BUT there is a fix for the durability issue, and I think the people making these should take notes. Threadlocker. Just put some of it, just a little bit, on the middle ridged part of the pin with Threadlocker, and it'll be right as rain. A more permanent fix would probably some compound concrete of some sort, but this I've found seems to be the cheapest and easiest fix. Holds strong and won't fall out anytime soon. Threadlocker is made to withstand vibrations and movement.

Fun while it lasted
It was great.. until it wasn’t. It lasted less than 10 days. Was starting to get the hang of rolling and flicking it around, but it dropped and broke like Legos. I would see the actual quality is good - it’s durable material, however, the assembly seemed to have been the failing point. I dropped it quite a bit but that’s part of “training” / practicing, but it didn’t end up being very durable. Bit sad, will probably check out another to continue. It was fun while it lasted.

Fun to use
Small, nice, fun to use, fits in your pocket, turns nice, I’ve dropped it a couple times and it still is fine. Overall I enjoy using this and have fun messing around with it.
