Colorist's Special Effects 4: Achievable colored drawing skills!

Being a newbie to colored-pencil coloring, this book is so cool! I’ve learned a lot from it.

This is Book 4 of a series of practical step by step guides for colouring using colour pencils by Helen Elliston. I particularly enjoyed the Edible Incredible section - colouring food objects! Other sections are Bold Backgrounds, Beauty of Nature, Cool Stuff and Mystical (I love the magic potion). Her previous books have helped me improve my colour pencil skills. The Colorist’s Special Effects series is a must have reference for colorists.

The introduction are easy and steps by steps to create the same effects

The media could not be loaded. Really like the layout of the book. Very happy with the purchase. I included a brief video of myself flipping through the book. Great method study book for color pencil.

Added to my adult coloring books collection. Great instruction book.

I have all of her books, this one I think is my new favorite. Most of my work has been done using her books as aids, I absolutely love them. I cannot wait to do potion bottles!

You are going to love this book...my favorite (if I have to pick on) is the candies and toast and I can't wait to try them. You can't go wrong with this book

On apprend plein de techniques de coloriage. C'est super. Dommage que le livre ne soit pas traduit en Français directement !

Tolles Buch, obwohl in Englisch sind die Erläuterungen gut zu verstehen und nachzumachen. Bringt einem im Hobby zeichnen echt weiter

Considering the content and paper quality the price is too high

This looks like it will be a fantastic book. The tutorials are really clear and easy to follow and the colouring looks fantastic. I cannot wait to get started and have a go!
