Great light. Had to work with the placement to get the light where I needed it, but magnets are strong and the light is very bright.

I have used similar lights but these lights have more leds providing even more light They make the area around my sewing machine even brighter which improves the sewing experience

Great magnetic lights! Most of my cheap power tools don't have lighting so these are great because I can leave them on or take them off and use them on other tools. Very simple operation, just plug and play. One switch to turn on or off. The neck is flexible so that you can direct the light onto just about any position. Nice bright, cool white color, low energy use, and long cord (4.5 feet). Overall great lights!

The light itself is great especially at its price. They provide good light for reading in bed, operating small machine that need concentrated light such as a drill press, band saw, small table router, bench grinder, or a sewing machine. I was delighted to find several self adhesive disks included in the package to use light on non-magnetic surfaces. Unfortunately, after 30 days of use, the disk lose adhesion. I did pre-clean rhe surface with alcohol. After the first failure, I removed the adhesive from the disks and applied 3M double stick tape in it's place. The results were about the same. About a month later the disk came loose. I'm at a loss. I don't want to use a permanent mounting solution such as a screw or super glue. The disks allow the user to move a single light to several locations. I could see buying another pair of these lights for use in other locations but only machines that are metal provide easy mounting surfaces. To use on non-magnetic surfaces such as my headboard, or shelving for audio/video equipment, or a nightstand or dresser, I need a removable magnetic surface that doesn't remove itself or damage the surface.

Def worth the $$$....strong magnet and the light is super brite.

These lights are great for the cost

Says sewing machine light BUT. I use it on my scroll saw and band saw. Close up lighting help me to follow a pencil line on wood much easier then without it. Highly recommended.
