Excellent
Once assembled this Magazine Box from BCW is quite sturdy. I used the BCW Magazine Bags and Backer Cards and now my collection is safe and sound. Not only does this work great for Magazines, but I am able to keep my Graphic Novels, Collectible Button Sets and other thick or oversized comic collectibles secure.

Probably the best out there for magazine storage!
I buy these over and over again, as needed. and I find them probably the best out there for magazine storage, at least on this site. As everyone mentioned, the assembly isn't that easy all the time. I've purchased 6 of these and just came back for more, because they do the job that I need and cardboard boxes are only good for short term. The huge drawback to these is that they aren't even close to watertight, so if you're going to place them in some storage locker that has a chance of storm damage, you might lose your precious antique magazines or precious vintage comic books. The ribbed black cases also attract dirt like crazy on the outside and are tough to clean, I use a pressure washer! You might want to consider placing the containers inside a huge crate to ensure they're free of water damage. I've had storage units for 25 years and there have been several episodes where some leak caused problems in my unit, risking my magazines. You'll love how they stack together and lock together. Not easy to tip over, etc. Out of all that I bought, I've had one that just didn't lock that securely where it's assembled, so I'm careful not to be rough with the case. I guess it's just slightly defective at a locking point. When I rock it, it you can tell it's just a little loose. If I could design my ideal case, I'd probably make it two piece, so that it's watertight on at least on the bottom and sides and just have a lid that seals. Then I'd have the strength and water integrity, but I haven't found anyone selling the proper size for 8.5x11 magazines, that I need, with those characteristics. If you're just going to keep these inside your house or in your closet, then you should be fine. I suppose you could seal up all the sides with silicon, but that'd be a bit of work and there's a lot if seams and a lot of expensive sealer. Don't laugh, I'm storing some 60-100 year old magazines that could become worthless in a heartbeat. and be nearly impossible to replace.I just like how these crates are the perfect size and look professional, compared to some Rubbermaid style tubs. Another idea is to use the 10-pack of cardboard boxes from the same manufacturer and place those in some watertight tubs. It all depends how you plan to store these things and how much moving around you'll need to do, over the years. I hope this helps someone to consider what could happen and help them make the right storage choice.

Nice sturdy bin, once you get it put together
I don't usually have trouble assembling things but this one took a little bit of effort because the bin itself is made of very thick heavy plastic pieces that must be locked into place together and it does take a little work to get them all to snap fully into place. But once assembled, it's a great bin for storage of magazines you want to keep. There is one divider included with the bin that allows you to partition the storage space into two halves, and there are slots for 3 additional dividers (which must be purchased separately) that would provide you with five sections. The dividers are sturdy and allow storage of a smaller number of items without them folding or falling over. The bin is not airtight nor watertight, but the covers on the top do a good job of keeping dust out. The bins stack on top of each other with little locking legs that keep them a bit more stable. The handles make it easy to move the bins around. Someone thought about this design and it shows. You pay a higher price for it, but it's a nice solution.

Overall good
Its kind of a pain to assemble, that was sort of expected. This is great for indoor storage with regulated humidity control. If you live in a damp atmosphere these won’t do it, it’s not like it’s air-tight. I also think it’d be a bad to store these outside as I believe the weather would take its toll on the comics. For me it’s perfect because I live in a rather dry area and i’m storing them indoors. If assembled correctly they are very sturdy and stackable. For the price point it’s a very ideal product. The design is pretty sleek and with black is the color it’s really less of an eyesore than the white boxes.

These are awesome
I ordered one and was so pleased that I had to order another. Perfect way to store magazines and comics. Can be somewhat of a pain to put together but worth it in the end.

Sturdy
I can fit about 50+ standard size magazines in each box. This includes a protective covering with each magazine. Very sturdy…
