Excellent brakes. After bedding in, they work just great. Good stopping power downhill in town and nice and quiet.

Easy to install and offer great braking power

Fit was easy and looked the part . Braking was a little dispointi g for 1st two rides but seems to have bedded in now and giving better stopping performance .

Updated and edited after 2 months of use:If it was not bad enough that they do not provide a new spit pin forcing you to use an old one which is unsafe as it is I have had nothing but issues, fitted to a freshly cleaned bike with a brand new rotor that was proper cleaned of all oil and grease it might have picked up during manufacture, and yet from day one after a proper bedding in they have constantly squealed and that would have been ok if they actually stopped me but as it is i would pull the lever harder and harder and nothing ... nothing ... nothing for along time and almost like random they would bite locking up the wheel, heck going down a slight hill even though i pulled the lever 3/4 up the hill i kept gaining speed luckily I had different pads on the rear and so i was able to stop be for blowing through a red light into busy cross traffic.Getting home a week later after a similar incident I inspected the pads and they where utterly covered in rust which is bad as that rust can lift the pad material off the metal and that is exactly what happened as both my pads where heavily rusted and this caused one to fail ( see pics )For the price these things should be made from a rust proof material like stainless steel or aluminium, heck i have used cheap pads that are £10 for a set of 2 have a backing of stainless or aluminum, I would classify these pads not only as massively over priced but a danger to your life.So I have seen these for some time and figured would try them over the usual cheap pads i usually get however I am utterly unimpressed right out the box, as of yet I have been unable to try these pads for the simple reason that they do not come with the needed split pin to secure the pads into the caliper, the split pin in not reusable and must for safety sake be replaced with the new pads so why for the over priced pads do these not come with a split pin? Heck i have seen packs of 4 sets of pads come with 4 springs and 4 split pins for like £8 so i find it hard to accept that one set of pads for basically £20 does not have such an important part, for this reason i have to give them 1 star because without a new split pin they are basically useless

Ideal and easy to fit

Needed new break pads for my bike, saw these on amazon vine and got them, a well known national company wanted to charge me £50 for my service and break pad replacementI got breaks and opened pack removing old ones was easy, fitting these was a little tricky trying to hold clip in position and break pads, however once fitted they where much better than the originals, i tuck out kids cycling and gave new pads a test, remember new pads breaks will be a little sharp.But I would have no problem recommending these break pads, if you have any issue fitting there are many videos on YouTube

Firstly thanks to Amazon for allowing me to try these out free of charge for this review.My existing Tektro Draco brake pads had worn down to 3.6 mm below the recommended 4mm limit so I needed to replace them.These were compatible so having the opportunity to get these on test was a no brainer.I had heard of the company and believe they have a good reputation.These fitted perfectly into the brake cylinder and lined up with the securing pin without issue.They certainly look good quality but my main concern is the price point. At the time or writing they are actually a few pounds dearer than the original Tektro replacements!That said time will tell if they are harder wearing than the originals perhaps the price won’t be such an issue .Bear in mind with normal use the pads will last for many years. My present ones lasted 7 years! (Albeit slightly over-worn). So it’s not an expense you will need to worry about often.With all new brakes don’t forget to ’bed them’ in properly to remove the glaze and any contamination before relying on them to stop you quickly! There are plenty of instruction videos on the net.After bedding them in they have very good even stopping power and are smooth at bringing you to a controlled stop as I expected .No issues with usability or quality but the price may put some off.
