Amazing product! I've been trying to go as "green" as possible, but hesitated with these as i was concerned about staining, hygiene, quality etc. which seemed to be unfounded however. You get more than enough rounds; they last me 2/3 weeks as I only use them for toning. The times they picked up leftover dirt & makeup, the stains washed out easily and they looked as good as new after. I can't attest to this being the case if they were constantly used for heavy duty makeup removal however as I double cleanse, so please do keep that in mind. The material is heavenly to touch. There were a few loose strings and snags on arrival, but it doesn't appear to be indicative of poor quality. The standard everyday rounds are almost fleece-like, while the exfoliator pads are like a soft towel. This does impact the absorbency a bit and you might find yourself using more product than you mean to, as the liquid "sits" on top and take a few seconds to soak in. Majority of this is resolved after the first wash though. They come in a recycable carton with a cute little laundry bag, which you can also put in the washing machine. I personally prefer letting them soak in some warm water, facial wash & tea tree oil before rinsing - and like I've mentioned before, there has been no staining, and no bacterial breakouts. The texture of the exfoliator pads also make it great to run under some hot water and wipe away masks/cleansers, or even use as a face flannel. As a little warning however, I should mention they tend to "stretch" out after the first use from the inside out (like normal cotton pads). I would still definitely recommend this regardless and have no regrets.

Really great little set, the pads are very soft and remove all my makeup with a cleanser (even waterproof makeup) without me having to scrub my face red raw! I used to use disposable makeup remover wipes but these are much more eco-friendly and a great purchase so far. They're easy to wash and I just chuck them in with my weekly clothes wash which is handy enough.

It would be great if you could buy just the velour pads (or just the terry cloth ones if you prefer) rather than having to buy the selection pack. (I know there are other brands making similar products, but I wanted to get these as they are a better known company and there were more comprehensive reviews available.) My skin can be very sensitive - I can't use those muslin cloths that you get with some cleansers as they are too rough and scratchy. However, these pads are very soft and have caused me no issues at all. As I only use these for toner there are more than enough here to last the week. They can just go into the regular clothes laundry once a week. They wash well: I make sure to tie two knots in the drawstring on the bag; no problems with pads falling out into the washing machine. They dry pretty quickly just hanging up in the airing cupboard, still in the bag. Can't comment on how good they are for makeup removal as I don't use any these days. However, I can say that I haven't had to use more product with these than I used to with disposable cotton pads. All in all the quality seems fine. Again, it would be good if you could make your own selection of type and quantity and number of bags, especially as the whole idea is to reduce waste.

My daughter recommend these to me. For 45 years I have always had the same routine with makeup removal. Two cotton wool balls every night, one to remove and one to clean. I worked out I had used approximately 32850.00 balls......that was quite shocking This product is packaged and looks like something you would be treated to at a high class health farm. The pads are so silky, soft and beautifully made. They arrived neatly packaged with two washable bags to put them in for the washing machine. I have only used 2 so far and find that washing out with soap after use is sufficient to be able to reuse so far. The fact these will last me the rest of my life and no more cotton wool balls makes me feel I am do a tiny part in helping the fight against pollution of our plant. Every woman should have these and feel as glamorous removing their makeup as they do wearing it.

Good to feel you're helping climate change and the environment by having less cotton products and no waste. Product arrived in a cardboard package, with net for washing and the correct number of pads that all look well made. Washed well. Need flattening out when drying and so good for use toner and removing makeup, then simply wash to use again. I find this really good value for money for the number of pads you get. Great product.

Great product, lovely quality pads that do the job and wash up great, much better than buying disposables.

When these arrived I was thrilled with how soft they were and the quality. However, I’m struggling to wash out the makeup from them despite even using vanish. Reaaaally love them and know it’s better for the planet it’s just such a shame they don’t clean very well. It’s not nice seeing mascara stains after you’ve stuck them in the wash 3 times.

These reusable pads have exceeeded my expectations. I bought them because I thought it was time to try and reduce my contribution to landfill but have to admit that I kept a pack of disposable pads just in case the reusable ones weren't up to the job. I have found them to be gentle on my skin but effective at cleaning and getting make up off. I haven't used them to remove nail varnish though. The bags provided are handy. One each for storing clean and dirty pads. When washing, I put the dirty pads into a nylon laundry bag to wash them; they have been washed 3 times now and they have kept their shape and maintained their effectiveness.

Me gustaron porque vienen 16 discos desmaquillantes de tamaño un poco más grandes que los regulares de algodón. Por lo que si antes requería de dos pads ahora sólo me basta con uno. Además, 8 discos son de tela para limpiar. Es decir, la tela es especialmente suave. No requiero utilizar de mayor cantidad de producto en comparación con los de algodón, por lo que no desperdició nada de agua micelar o tónico. El resto de las 8 pads son de tela poroza, es decir, se utilizan para exfoliar. En cuanto a su calidad: llevo al menos 15 días utilizando solo 2 pads (1 suave, 1 poroza) y siguen exactamente en las mismas condiciones; la tela se ha mostrado resistente y las costuras por las orillas son igual buenas. Al respecto de sus cuidados: vienen en una bolsa de tela, la cual utilizo para meter a la lavadora y quedan como nuevas. Pero debo de mencionar que en cuanto las utilizo, para que no se absorba mi maquillaje, inmediatamente les doy una enjuagada rápida con el mismo jabón con el que me lavo la cara, y las dejo secar colgadas. El tiempo de esperar fue muy corto, incluso llegaron antes de la fecha programada. Estoy feliz con el producto. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Sí lo volvería a comprar.

As described, but takes too much product to use properly (toner). I do not use them for the purpose I purchased them for.

Die Menge reicht für zwei Gesichtsreinigungen täglich über 4-5 Tage, ohne dass man sie ständig in die Waschmaschine geben muss. Die Qualität ist gut und die Textur angenehm. Das Produkt kam schnell und sehr gut verpackt an.

These are so much better than regular cotton circles! They are softer on your face and so easy to clean. It’s not only better for the environment it’s also saved me money not having to buy cotton circles all the time to take my makeup off!
