Colorist's Special Effects 4: Achievable colored drawing skills!

This looks like it will be a fantastic book. The tutorials are really clear and easy to follow and the colouring looks fantastic. I cannot wait to get started and have a go!

Super book, fill of tips, techniques and descriptions. It brings the pictures to life! I love the numbered things to build the pictures (helps me lots eg draw basic plant pot), mystical potions, textures, variety like the descriptions (I have curved and varied the weave, Fade up), which pencil, colour she's used. The book has a practice area & fun games and answers too. Great tips, makes me much better. Good gift x

I'm enjoying this book so much, although I think it is a little expensive for a paperback. I like the way you can practice in the book & the paper is nice & smooth to colour on with little "tooth" to it. Its helping with my adult Colouring books a lot. I'm currently doing a gingerbread house scene which has lots of sweets in it, so the first chapter with sweets was useful. The only thing I don't like are the heavy black lines around the practice pieces, it would have been better if they had been thinner.

Another fab book by Helen Elliston, i received this book as a gift. It's filled with loads of helpful step by steps, from candy sweets,squirrels to toast, it also has test areas so you can tryout.

Being a newbie to colored-pencil coloring, this book is so cool! I’ve learned a lot from it.

On apprend plein de techniques de coloriage. C'est super. Dommage que le livre ne soit pas traduit en Français directement !

Tolles Buch, obwohl in Englisch sind die Erläuterungen gut zu verstehen und nachzumachen. Bringt einem im Hobby zeichnen echt weiter
