How often do you need to use the descaler - UK in hard water area

You will need to descale the device at least once a year, or more often depending on the number of shower cycles. During the descaling procedure, you can continue to use the device without the shower toilet functions. The descaling procedure lasts 30-40 minutes depending on the model of toilet. During this time, the LED lights up orange and you can establish the descaling status from the display. Once the orange LED switches off, the spray functionality is ready for operation again.

Is this product the same as the vitra branded wc descaler also made by durgol?

Hi there, This is not the same as Vitra branded wc descaler, this is Geberit Aquaclean made by Geberit.

How many bottles would you use to descale

Just 1 bottle, my Aquaclean toilet tells me when, usually every 9 months. (The descaling interval depends on how hard the water has been set in the setup)
