Shockingly Got Even Better!
So I'm now on my third one of these cooling pads (more on that in a second) and I've gotta say this is the one to buy! I've tried others at similar price points but this is by far the best functioning and quietest one that I've used. The sound is still noticeable, sure, but it's not unpleasant like one or two I tried out first. Airflow is great and keeps my gaming laptop noticeably cooler during heavy performance loads, which I'm confident helps extend the life of the laptop. As for the reason I've bought this three times, they did something small that led me to write this review. I had to replace the first two because the plastic support clips that hold the laptop up while the pad is tilted broke (mostly user error, partly age as I'd had each one for about six months before they broke). Well, I just received my third one and I wasn't very pleasantly surprised that they now ship two extra support clips with the cooling pad, so if I break one, I can just replace the clip instead of the whole pad. For a pad at this price point, I feel that's a completely unexpected improvement to the overall product. They also shipped a much higher quality male-to-male USB-A cable than before. The first couple I got were low quality and caused power drops when jostled, so I bought a better quality one to use. This third one came with a much higher quality cable as well, which I'm going to try for a while and see if it holds up.Buy this one, you won't be disappointed!

Extremely Functional and Beautiful as described.
After using this cool looking fan for a while I've grown to really like it. Seems very durable and is very quiet. I monitor my temps on my comp and it does a decent job of keeping my gaming laptop cool. There are different settings for the fan and the impressive lighting. You can see the settings on a backlit led indicator.I have a Dell G5 15 and it is a rather large gaming laptop, it fits perfectly; you can set your laptop at different viewing heights as well. It has tabs which support it very steadily.

The fans are troopers that have lasted years, but the RGB lights started acting weird really quickly
I purchased this cooling stand in December of 2021 to use as a means of helping keep my laptop cool while running games or drawing software, and am writing a review after two years of use.I'm happy to report that even after two years of nearly daily use, the fans remain fully operational, and the controls for them still function as intended--the + and - buttons still adjust speed and holding down the power button still allows me to switch between having all the fans running or just one of the two rows. The fan speed is decent even on the lowest setting (when you turn it on, it's automatically on level 3). I generally default to using it on max speed. It absolutely helps keep my laptop cooler when running software like Genshin Impact. It's not capable of keeping it cold or anything extreme like that sadly, but it decreases the heat intensity enough that I turn on the fans anytime I'm going to be using software that's demanding. On the highest setting with all the fans working, it does make a very even, consistent noise, but it's better than the whirring of my laptop itself when it gets really warm. I don't find it that distracting because I wear headphones, but it's certainly not "whisper quiet" or anything. The stand part itself also is pretty nice; it has several height options that can come in very hand for holding laptops at all sorts of angles as necessary. It has a metal bar supporting it, which I like for stability. The one drawback/flaw to it is that my RGB lights only operated correctly for a few months before they started acting weird. (The blue lights that turn on with the fans still work fine). One day, they turned off and I couldn't turn them back on, and figured they'd died and it was fine since the fans were operational. But then... one day, weirdly, the lights started to slowly come on by themselves. One moment they were dark, the next there was a little bit of red and blue. The very edges turned a color and then different splotches of color slowly crept up until the whole thing was a blotch of random colors that didn't respond to the controls. I couldn't change the lights, I couldn't turn them off. And then, weirdly, the lights were functional again, responding to the controls... but when it got unplugged, the lights didn't come back on, nor could they be turned on.And then the cycle repeated. And continues to repeat. Randomly splotches of lights will turn on and change over the course of several days. Then I unplug the cooler because I can't stand the lights being on all night. It's very odd. I don't know what caused it or why it seemingly can be functional yet generally refuses to. I'm wondering if it has something to do with me having the cooler plugged into a power block in an outlet and not the USB of my laptop? Or maybe it's just a faulty part of the device that wasn't going to make it long regardless of its power source.Either way, the RGB lights do not function as intended. Since this isn't super important to me because the fans still run just run and the stand itself holds my laptop as it should, I let the matter be, but if you want a cooler with long-term light up effects, this may not be it.If you're just after long-term functionality of the stand and fans, however, for the price it's certainly proven itself to be a trooper. I didn't anticipate it running well for 2 years. The only part of it that's sustained any wear is the power button (the plastic covering cracked, revealing the little silver button underneath). I clean out any accumulated dust with a paintbrush, tweezers, and can of compressed air every so often and turn it on nearly every day, so I'd say my ~$30 was well spent.

Works perfectly
Keeps my gaming laptop so cool you’d never know I’d been gaming for hours. Love the changeable RGB lighting.

I am impressed with this purchase
I have had this laptop cooling pad from Ice Coorel for a little over a year now. I really wanted to test it out before I gave a review, so that way I could attest to how durable it is. I am running a MSI Thin gaming laptop for context of this review. Prior to picking this up, my laptop would run so hot that it would actually get uncomfortable to touch near the WASD keys. The laptop cooling pad is pretty simple. It is lightweight and feels like it won't be very good, however it is quite impressive. It has two usb ports on the back that you plug in the included woven wrapped usb cord to plug into your laptop or a separate usb block. I do wish the cord was a tad bit longer, but its not the end of the world. Noise level of the fans can be kind of loud on the highest level with all 8 fans going. But if you are running a laptop, especially for gaming, you are already used to louder fans so its not a big deal. You can toggle between the top three fans, the lower three fans, or have all of them going at once. There are multiple steps to the level of fan speed. I can run games for hours and not have the same heat that my laptop was putting off previously. I am honestly impressed on so many levels with the ability to keep this laptop cooler for longer. I know there are ways to spec test the internal temps, but I just haven't gotten around to it since I got this laptop cooling pad. Simply put, I do not want to stress test my laptop without these fans going on it. Like I said above, this laptop could get so warm that it was almost unbearable to the touch after a little bit of gaming. Now? Completely different. I have since opened my laptop to swap out my RAM, and there are no signs of heat wear anywhere inside, as well!! My paste and everything are still super good to go.Now I know that there are some people who roll their eyes over RGB things when it comes to gaming. However, to those people, if you want boring but still need a cooling pad, you can turn the lights off. But if you want to be fun and have pretty lights dancing around your laptop as you game for hours, you are going to love this pad! Like I said, I have had this pad for over a year now, and the lights still work very well!! I will play for hours, and the lights never stutter or have any issues. There is a way to change the tilt of the cooling pad, so that you can adjust the laptop for different angles. It has two feet at the bottom, so that your laptop does not just slide off, if you do have it angled. It is very lightweight, easy to store, and the buttons have a clicky feel to them when you are changing through settings. The only downside to this pad is if you are plugged into your laptop, it does eat in to your battery. Between gaming and the cooling pad, you are going to have to keep your laptop charging while you play with this. I feel like this is a given, but I believe the charging pad does not allow the laptop to get to full charge if I have the pad plugged into it.

Nicely designed, very quiet
I recently purchased a 12 year old Lenovo ThinkPad laptop. These old workhorses are awesome but they do produce some serious heat! So, the best thing is to pair it with a good laptop cooling pad. This one by Ice Coorel has 8 cooling fans. You can operate it with either the top or bottom 4 fans separately, or set it to use all 8 at once. You can also set the speed of the fans so that the noise level is easily controlled. I personally am using all 8 fans and the fan noise is still not bad at just a hair above a whisper. The cooling effect on the laptop is great although the laptop still generates considerable heat. All in all, for the price, this cooling pad appears to be well built, operates on a USB cable, plus provides an additional USB port to make up for the USB port used for power on the laptop. You can elevate the rear for better air movement. It also has a swing out arm to support a cell phone if desired. Nicely designed. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Disappointed (Slightly less though)
I was really excited to have an adjustable laptop stand with a fan, as my laptop gets very hot while gaming and I've had a lot of issues with my chronic illness as of late, so I've been using it more. Bought this one based on all the good reviews, was really looking forward to my computer just being slightly cooler. It arrived very quickly, which was great, I set it up on my desk and plugged it into the computer. Fans are so pathetic in this thing that it literally did not decrease the temperature at all on my laptop and you can barely feel them blowing at all, even after I plugged it into my wall in hopes maybe it was just because it was my laptop.. It feels very flimsy for the price and I'm pretty disappointed overall.. maybe I'm judging it too quickly, but if you don't see this updated, I'm likely still feeling this way :PThe noise level and how quickly it arrived saved it from a one star review. It obviously does its job at adjusting the angle just fine, but it shakes and feels awful while typing, like it's going to break any minute while I'm typing up this review. I gotta say, I wish I got whatever model the other reviewers got, haha!***Day 2 update:Going to add a star, just because when I let my laptop cool down over night and started it up with the fan running the whole time, it is, in fact, helping to keep the temp 3-4 degrees fahrenheit lower. Still not quite as sturdy as I was hoping it would be, or as efficient, but I want to make sure I stay honest with any reviews I make, since I rely heavily on these when making purchases! :)***11/15 update:I am not adding or subtracting any stars, just making the statement that this product does not work when I'm actually needing it to, it just cools my laptop down faster after it's done being used. The adjustable height is nice still, but my laptop shakes every time I type on it.I bought this since it said it'd hold a a larger laptop, but now I'm suspecting it's not actually meant to hold the 17.3" end of the spectrum and closer to the 15". I do wonder if it would work better if my laptop was smaller, so whenever I purchase a new laptop cooler in general, I'll see if this works better for one of my children's laptops instead.

Good quality
Rewiev after 2 years of using. Still working, any issues...

Laptop is cooler.
This is keeping my laptop cooler by about 5C compared to the name brand cooler I was using. I'm also able to sit up straighter, and am not experiencing neck pain or fatigue from leaning forward when using the laptop on a flat surface. Really worth the money on these aspects alone. My only criticism is not having the ability to turn off the RGB lights.
