Christmas Cookies: More than 60 recipes for adorable festive bakes

I gave this to my sister for Christmas and she loved it. Admittedly the book was a little smaller than I expected. There was a good variety of the classics.

I don't usually do this but I was really disappointed in this little book. There are very few recipes beyond the base recipes for sugar cookies and gingerbread. Most are simply different cut outs or different royal icing decorations. And a lot of them aren't even very well done.I'd like to say that this would be good for beginners but I'm not even sure that is true. I'd skip this, if it were me. Most of what is in here you can find on the internet and once you've got the idea of how to cut the shapes and decorate, it's not much use to have a dozen "recipes" showing that. There are a couple of actual recipes in the last chapter but nothing worth 15.00. I give it 3 stars because the book is well made and pretty.

Book arrived on time. I was not a fan of some of the cookie recipes and found that there could of been a bit more recipes. On a plus side each recipe has a picture. I got the book for a good price so I can’t really complain
