Very good fit (for non-petite people), easily adjustable, and easy to put on by yourself with a little practice. The thumb straps help keep your arm stable and they prevent the arm from slipping out. The vertical adjustment strap is easy to use with your one good hand. The Velcro connector on the front which receives the vertical support strap is well designed and durable. The fabric of the sling is comfortable. I was able to use this sling easily during daytime activities, and was able to sleep with it as well. I highly recommend this sling. I will be ordering another one to put in our family med bag.

I purchased this shoulder sling while deailng with very bad and painful frozen shoulder of my dominant arm. I was SO impressed with this shoulder sling in every way! It was very easy to use, lightweight, easy to adjust, breathable, and comfortable to wear. It had excellent and effective shoulder padding and support. The material was comfortable and did not cause irritation or chafing. For the price, I consider this purchase a good value with a very reasonable price. I used it for several months, and the item held up very well, indicating that it is good quality and durable. I am a small/thin/petite woman with thin arms, so the arm sleeve portion was a bit baggy for me, but it was still very usable and comfortable. This also indicates that this item could be used by much larger and heavier people than myself. This shoulder sling was a great tool for me to use during the time I was dealing with the frozen shoulder condition at its worst, when I was most afflicted and to some degree, debilitated, by this condition. I would recommend it to anyone with frozen shoulder who needs to rest their shoulder by using a sling.

Much superior to the one it is replacing. The fabric is light and strong. I like the cushioning at the wrist, and I love the double shoulder strap. The old single strap cut into my neck and shoulder from the weight of my arm. The strap is easily adjustable with one hand. The old sling's strap was velcro and that stopped holding right away. This one has a self tightening, lift to release strap cinch, like you'd find on a good quality backpack. It works great.

Mixed feelings about this sling. The product itself, the sling and strap, are very good. Nice materials, look to be solidly assembled. Good size: I'm 6-2, 210 and it fits and adjusts well and is comfortable. The split strap shoulder pad is first class. It should be - Custom SLR (single-lens reflex) mainly markets straps for pro photographers. So basically it's a pro-level camera strap sewn to a decent sling. The problem is in the horrible instructions. No instructions come in the box (really?). The instructions on the product page are not for the model that I received and nowhere on the sellers website can you find correct instructions. So unless you have a lot of experience with strap connections you might have a hard time figuring it out. On the plus side I put in a help request with the seller and received a (partial) response in about two hours. But who has two hours to decipher how to do what should be a two minute (heck, thirty seconds) assembly? And oh yeah - I wore the sling to karate class. It worked fine in protecting my shoulder. But it also left black marks on my white gi jacket at the collar where the strap sits. Maybe they'll come out in the wash. The point is you should probably wash the sling first to get some of the dye out. At the least try not to wear light clothing the first few wearings.

My elderly mom broke her collar bone and was in need of a comfortable sling as she would be using it for several weeks. Initially we needed to purchase one locally. It was not a viable option for long-term use. The Medical Arm Sling provides good support while being comfortable. The padded shoulder pad prevented discomfort in her shoulder. The felt thumb support was comfortable and kept her arm from sliding out of the sling. This sling allowed for adequate air flow and she didn’t complain of her arm becoming hot or sweaty. I found the sling easy to put on. The strap wraps around the shoulder and goes into the ring on the sling. It is easily adjustable at the shoulder, only needing to pull the clip for proper fit. The only negative is that it was a little large for my moms’ s small frame. Otherwise, I’d recommend this product.

3 weeks post op rotator cuff tear - complete/full thickness tear. I’ll be in a sling for months. I had the initial sling from the emergency orthopedic, a heavy neoprene thing. It’s extremely supportive but bulky and hot, especially while sleeping. Second sling came post op. Thin, cotton kinda cheesy. Has metal loops for the strap to attach. Ugly and great amount of pressure on neck. 3rd sling - thinner neoprene with a pocket for phone. Still hot, and neck strap uncomfortable. 4th - mesh sling for shower or lighter support. Not very supportive and fabric is irritating to stay in during the day. This sling is light weight but supportive. NOT Hot. Split strap is very comfortable and easy to position. Easy to shorten/lengthen it for changing needs lime sleeping. Love it…as much as a sling can be loved.

Definitely feels a lot lighter and comfortable. Does not put a strain on your shoulder, and has a little pouch or cash and cards inside the sling. Adjusting it was confusing at first, does not come with instructions however, it's easy to adjust once you have played around with it. I fractured my elbow and pulled a ligament so this definitely helps with my posture because it elevates my arm to where it should be. Highly recommended.

My X-ray confirmed a broken shoulder blade, so I ordered this while still in A&E waiting for the consultant to discharge me. I was sent home with a triangular bandage knotted in a sling and a couple of painkillers. The triangular bandage sling was worse than useless, dug into my neck and was too short to support my forearm. Luckily the new sling arrived the next day, as soon as I put it on the relief was instant, my arm and shoulder was immobilised and fully supported. Quality is good, similar straps and buckles that you find on a good camera bag. The double strap on the shoulder is well padded and slightly stretchy which gives good shock absorption. Adjustment of the straps is easy, adjust the rear strap so that the shoulder pad sits on the top of your shoulder, then everything is done from the front strap and quick release Velcro fastener. You can Olsen the front strap completely which is enough to slide the sling off, but if you need to take extra care not to move your shoulder you can also undo the quick release strap. Putting is on is simple too, just extend the strap to it’s full length, position your arm in the sling and once the quick release strap is fastened, just pull down on the front strap to tighten, if needed lift the buckle to loosen. Very pleased with the quality and would definitely recommend it.
