Love this little guy!
I grew up a Tamagotchi kid but never tried Digimon until recently. What finally pushed me over the edge was a nostalgic deep-dive video by Billiam (shoutout to him for the great content). I had no idea how cool and in-depth these little devices were compared to the pets I grew up with. This glow-in-the-dark version is not only a fun throwback but a solid intro to the world of Digimon virtual pets. The training and battle mechanics are simple but surprisingly addictive. I’ve already raised a couple different Digimon and love how they evolve depending on how well you take care of them. It’s super portable, the screen is sharp enough to get the job done, and yes—it really does glow in the dark (the shell, not the screen). I haven’t linked it to another device yet, but I’m already considering picking up a second one just to try the battle feature. My only tiny gripe is that I wish the back of the shell was flat so it could sit on a desk or nightstand more easily. It’s a minor thing, but worth noting.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mix of nostalgia and low-maintenance fun. Whether you're revisiting childhood or just discovering Digimon for the first time—this little guy is worth it.

Cherish this retro digivice!
Had mine for 10 days now, both showed up in exceptional new condition. I'm in love, how there's so many mons on these is crazy with the double eggs and tag battle ladder, Device V Device single and tag battle, Copy and send between devices, and the album for viewing each month you've raised. Another really cool feature is the special unlockable eggs that have overpowered Digimon in them and also I guess you can use the Digimon copied onto a device for digifusion?! Was unsure what to expect as far as lifespans for the Digimon vpets but my metal greymon is 10 days old as of now and still can digivolve. I have 2 for myself and a third for my wife showing up in a couple weeks and am very happy with the purchase, I'll probably buy a few more to get all the bonus eggs lol.

I love the glow in the dark!
So I'm a tamagotchi/vpet enthusiast, and an adult, so keep this in mind. I bought this after hearing that the new anniversary edition would allow you to have two pets at once (a rare feature in vpets!) and battle them together. For the very cheap price, I HAD to try it out. This thing has the perfect mixture of the lovable classic features blended with some fresh new features that liven up the reboot. If you had one of these as a child, you will still enjoy this now, as it reigns true to its roots with a little extra oomph that you wished you had 20 years ago.As far as care needs, it's not a highly demanding pet, which I enjoy. The digimon can withstand a pretty large amount of neglect before passing away, compared to tamagotchi that will often die at the drop of a hat. You can also train them at your leisure, no need to be concerned about a time limit.Overall, it's a very enjoyable toy especially if you have the nostalgia of the original as a kid. I'm not sure that today's children would be impressed though, as they have been immersed in high tech technology from a young age and these pixel art pets may look stone age to them.Oh but one last thing, glowing in the dark? Always a super fun feature in my opinion. I thoroughly enjoy this toy and I hope this review has been helpful to you.

This thing is basically a glowing brick of stress and nostalgia. I love it.
Picked this up thinking, “Hey, cool, I’ll relive some childhood memories.” What I didn’t expect was to be held emotionally hostage by a digital roach who screams if I don’t feed it every few hours.Yes, it glows in the dark. Yes, that makes it look like I summoned it from a cursed vending machine. But the real magic? It constantly beeps at the worst possible times. Business meeting? Beep. Driving? Beep. Sleep? Haha nope, beep. You can raise two Digimon at once. Which means double the guilt when you forget about them and come back to find one of them sulking in digital poop like it’s mad at you (it is).The buttons feel exactly like they did 20 years ago—slightly squishy and incredibly judgmental. And the screen is crisp enough to remind you that your Digimon’s suffering is entirely your fault. If you're into nostalgic chaos and enjoy being bullied by a pixelated gremlin, this is the device for you. If not, well… enjoy your peaceful life, I guess. Weakling.

Very cute
It’s very cute and can be fun but it is very demanding if you want to keep the little guy alive. Be prepared to wake up or show up after work or school to see that you digimon is gone

My son is obsessed
You would think this thing was a living, breathing pet. My son is obsessed with caring for his “pet”. He takes it everywhere, and the durability has proven to be stellar. Battery life is great, great value for the money, and a very happy kiddo. My son is 11, and it was by far his favorite birthday gift of everything he received.

Nostalgia levels off the chart! So Happy! Perfect Condition!
I haven't had a Digimon Vpet since the late 90's, and was so happy when I came across. This Item is listed as Digimon Vpet Glow in the Dark, but it didnt necessarily say what version or model it was. So for those that are interested this is the "Digimon 20th Anniversary Vpet - Version: E". Also known as "Digimon D20".Both the box & device came in perfect condition. I am be on happy with this device and it brings back so much nostalgia!Oh yea, the Absolute suprise I got when my first Digimon evolved to stage 3 and a SECOND EGG showed up!!! Finding out i can raise TWO DIGIMON as once was Insane!!!
