I ordered the black paracord for my pink iron flask and got maybe 2 months of use out of it before the plastic part that wraps around the bottle snapped in half when I picked up my bottle one day. I'm a nurse so I use my water bottle constantly and was a little sad that the cord broke. If you're one of those people who carry a million things in/out at a time to avoid taking multiple trips, you understand how convenient this thing was to wear around my wrist while carrying a ton of other things haha. Luckily customer service was AMAZING. I emailed them with a picture of my broken paracord and order number and they got back to me later on that night asking me to pick out a new cord and they'd ship it out to me for free! Unfortunately, they didn't have any black cords left so I had to choose a different color but that's okay, I love my new one! 5/5 stars for amazing customer service, the new cord, and just for being an overall amazing company. I will continue to buy from this brand for this exact reason!

This is my third one from this company. I had one that came with my water bottle that I bought ages ago and was so shocked when I searched for paracords these came up and it was the same brand as my bottle. Anyways, now all my bottles have a cord and my kids bottles have cords. They are super durable and you can tell that they are good quality. They fit perfectly into the neck of the bottle, even if it takes a bit manipulation to get it on there. Once it’s on though it’s definitely secure. We also love the color and design which work for the color bottles we have.

It’s very tight so I used a blow dryer to stretch the plastic just enough to go around without killing my fingers it worked perfectly and it’s very snug but the coolest part is has a whistle a compass and some kinda serrated type of a tool in which I hope to never need. The aquamarine ine came with this set yp but the purple blue did not. I didn’t know it came with all the stuff. I just got this particular one it because it was cheap. And I needed two holders

OMG!!!! I think you can see this gorgeous purple paracord from space!!!! If i didn’t know better, I’d say it almost glows purple. I absolutely love it!!!! Haven’t lost my drink since I swapped my old one out. Easy peasey lemon squeezy to put on and that’s saying something because my technical skills are nonexistent.

The design is really good but it's kind of hit or miss with durability and quality both from my own experience and what I've read. The plastic ring is easy to slip on if you sit it in hot water for about a minute and it is a very secure fit once it cools down and sets. The paracord braid is very robust and fully supports the weight of my full 40oz flask even with my concerns about the securing end. The braid may need some extra glue on the ends to keep it from unraveling down the line. I'm unsure if mine just slipped through QA without fully secured ends or if this is intended. The ends are nicely fused and won't fray easily but I don't get into emergency situations where I would need easy access to the full length of paracord so I would rather have some gorilla glue holding the braid secure. My handle came with a faulty compass (air pocket trapped inside large enough to unlevel the disc) and the whistle is very quiet but those features aren't critical to my lifestyle, they're just aesthetic considerations to me. I really like the utilitarian design overall and the hidden fire sparker is very clever. The handle comes with a small carabiner flip for securing it to a bag or belt, but I wouldn't use it as the sole load bearing clip for my flask.

These handles are fantastic! I have multiple Iron Flask bottles and bought handles for my gym bottle and my work water bottle. They are easy to install and make the bottles easier to carry.

I chose this woven Iron Flask Paracord Handle in the navy, light blue, and black style, and it goes beautifully with my 22 oz. wide mouth navy Iron Flask water bottle. I highly recommend that if you get an Iron Flask water bottle you also get this Paracord Handle (see my review, and by the way the "water" bottle keeps hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold for a long time). Why get this handle? Because it makes the water bottle super easy to carry (it's just okay to carry without the handle), the paracord handle is sturdy yet flexible, and because as a bonus it's really nice looking. Both of these items come in many varieties, so you can mix and match them as you wish. It just feels really good to carry this water bottle with this corded handle attached. By the way, attaching it took a little patience, but once it's on, it really STAYS on and you never need to remove it. It is waterproof and it washes easily even though you have left the water bottle still attached to it. And guess what?---It has a little compass attached, a carabiner, and a well disguised whistle! The website also claims it has a fire-starter, but whaaaa?----I must have gotten mine before they put that fire-starter on (LOL!). I've had it over three years and it is holding up beautifully. I love this combination of the Iron Flask water bottle and Paracord Handle!

I bought this paracord handle over a year ago, and it is still holding up well, for the most part! I put it on my 64 oz IceWater brand water bottle. It was really hard to get it over the metal lip under where the lid screws on (without warming it), but now I don't think it's ever coming off, unless it gets cut off. I haven't had any of the issues of people saying the clasp keeps coming undone or it keeps slipping off, so I can't speak to that, as mine has been perfect in that matter. I don't usually unclip mine, though, so maybe that's why? I dropped my water bottle pretty good a few days ago and was smelling what smelled like gasoline. Come to find out, the compass had busted, and whatever liquid is in there to supposedly make it work well (mine was never accurate) had come out. Not a big deal to me, but an FYI for those who care. To the people who keep saying theirs didn't come with the fire starter, whistle, and compass combo, looking through the pictures, they've changed their design. The one that I have is square-knotted, not braided. It seems like the only ones that still have the combo are the ones that are square-knotted or the flowers (sunflower and daisy).

Be sure to heat the ring in hot water for 20-30 seconds like it says or you will have a hard time getting it over that last rung. I didn’t and it leaked. I re read it and voila. Perfect.
