These are mostly for my dog: the tiny size is perfect. (Vet approved) I have taken them too: they work, seem as good as brand name pharmaceutical.

I have a cat with digestive issues. Vets including mine recommend Famotidine in daily 0.5mg doses for cats with such issues.I can't blame this vendor for the fact that the smallest OTC tablet I can find is 10mg so that I have to use a pill cutter to get what I need.It's certainly better than the usual 20mg tablet, which is even nastier to divide.

This in an anti-heartburn med which is to be taken before a meal and/or after dinner/before going to bed. I take it at night. Hard to say how much worse my heartburn would be without it, but I still get heartburn, mainly at night. I used to take Omeprazole, also useful but no miracle either. My father had heartburn and so does my adult son, so it could be the way our esophagus and epiglottal flap are designed. Best for immediate heartburn relief are calcium carbonate antacid chew tablets, the large, minty ones (avoid fruit flavor) generic is better than Tums, IMO. Use regular (500 mg) for whole tablet, or cut the "extra strength" (too much!) in half with a pill cutter.

So far this product is working for me.

The vet recommended my cat take 5 mg of Famotidine every night, but the previous pills were too big, even when cut in half. Half of one of these is tiny, and so far he’s swallowing them with no trouble.

Helps them keep from upchucking their food & water when they stuff themselves.
