Heartleaf 77 Soothing Toner, 8.45 fl.oz | Moisturizing & Calming Facial Toner for Glass Skin, Hyaluronic Acid, Lightweight Hydration for Sensitive Skin, Redness Relief

This toner has become a staple in my skincare routine. It feels lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed without any sticky residue. My skin looks calmer and feels softer after each use, and it layers beautifully with serums and moisturizer. The large bottle also lasts a long time, making it an excellent value.

I developed seborrheic dermatitis on my eyes and scalp and extremely dry skin on the rest of my body after my hysterectomy. This toner has been an all over skin saver. I transfer it to a misting spray bottle and I mist my face and body after cleansing then I layer on Naturium's 5% Urea serum and let it all absorb. In the humid months, this fully hydrates my new hormonally dry body skin, and it doesn't feed the melazzisia yeast that triggers seborrheic dermatitis flares on my face. In the dry winter months, I layer body butter or oil over the serum on my body (not face) to seal in the moisture. My facial skin now feels and looks better than it ever has - soft, supple, smoothed texture, hydrated, and evening skin tone. My body skin feels soft and hydrated.

For reference, I have dry/combination, sensitive skin that's prone to inflammation and clogged pores. It took me until almost the end of the bottle for me to make up my mind about this toner. It's been hyped up so much on social media that I ended up caving and trying it, only to end up slightly disappointed when it didn't seem to make much of a difference on my skin. I wasn't expecting miracles or anything but I was hoping it would help reduce the inflammation I have in my cheeks. It did help a bit, but not much so I felt letdown by it. However, after a while I noticed it seemed to help my other products apply more smoothly and absorb into my skin better (kind of like a boosting toner). It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to layer and incorporate into my routine, spreads well, and provides light hydration. It also feels really refreshing when I apply it, so I enjoyed using it. I like that it didn't make my sensitive skin react either. Actually this is the only product I used (other than a ceramide cream) when my skin had a sudden strange reaction to something. It helped soothe my skin and didn't irritate at all. I wouldn't say it actively helped get rid of it faster (it went away on its own eventually), but it didn't exacerbate the problem, and it gave my skin a bit of hydration which was all I was looking for. Overall, I didn't see any dramatic improvements in my skin, but I think it's a nice product to have especially when my skin is irritated. I might repurchase in the summer (it's cold and dry where I am now) since it's so refreshing, but for now my skin is fine without it. Also, the 150mL bottle lasted me about 9 months with pretty consistent use (I applied it with my hands and layered it twice in the morning).

I’ve heard so much about this toner over the years that I was excited to finally give it a try. After finishing a full bottle, I can see why it’s popular, although it wasn’t quite the perfect match for my particular skin type. My skin tends to be dry, sensitive, and somewhat acne-prone, and while I found this toner very gentle and calming, I didn’t find it hydrating enough to make a significant difference in my routine. I still needed my usual hydrating serums and moisturizer afterward. What I did appreciate was how soothing it felt. The formula is built around 77% heartleaf (Houttuynia cordata) extract, an ingredient that has become very popular in Korean skincare for its calming and skin-supporting properties. It also contains other soothing ingredients like panthenol, centella asiatica, chamomile, purslane, and betaine, all of which help make the formula feel gentle and comfortable on the skin. The texture is very lightweight and watery, making it easy to layer without feeling sticky or heavy. I also really liked the bottle design. It dispenses the product neatly and made it easy to apply across my face and neck without wasting any product. As for the redness-reducing claims, I didn’t notice a dramatic improvement. That said, I only used a single bottle, and this is the type of product where benefits may become more apparent with longer-term use. My skin never felt irritated while using it, which is honestly a positive result in itself for sensitive skin. One thing I appreciate about Anua as a brand is that they tend to focus on relatively simple formulas centered around a few key ingredients rather than trying to cram dozens of trendy actives into one product. This toner feels very much in line with that philosophy- gentle, straightforward, and easy to incorporate into almost any routine. Overall, I think this is a nice toner for someone with normal, oily, or easily irritated skin who wants lightweight hydration and soothing benefits. For my drier skin, it wasn’t quite moisturizing enough to become a staple, but I did enjoy using it and can understand why it has developed such a loyal following.

I started using this toner a few years ago after hearing about it on TikTok. It's moisturizing and makes my face feel refreshed without any overpowering smells. One bottle has lasted me for around 2 years. I think it's a great value for the price.

I keep this stuff around in combination with the cleanser, toner, and foam for myself, wife and teenage daughter. We love it, the soothing sensation afterwards is incredible. On another note, I just used it to for some poison sumac rash on my face and it brought some of the redness down, the itchiness went away, and most of the burning as well. It may be temporary but I will be adding this to my "cleanse the urushiol" process

I was recommended this toner by a licensed esthetician and she was spot on. This is very lightweight but that’s the main reason why I love it. My skin absorbs it without issues, doesn’t cause irritation or breakouts, and it is so versatile it can go by itself or combined with other toners for some skin flooding. This is my go to. I use it twice a day most days.

It’s not bad, but if you have the able to choose another toner definitely don’t choose this one. It’s not worth it and there is a better ones than this.

Ottimo tonico, davvero uno dei migliori che abbia provato! Ha una consistenza leggerissima, quasi come acqua, e questo permette alla pelle di assorbirlo subito senza lasciare alcuna sensazione di appiccicoso.
