I listen to music at least 2hrs a day (during my commute) and I only have to charge the player about once a month. It also doesn't take very long to fully charge. I would have given it 5stars, but there are some cons: 1- the buttons make a clicky noise that is quite audible when I am on the bus. I play on shuffle, so sometimes I skip many songs to find one that I like and the clicking noise is very annoying. 2- Sometimes it will randomly lock itself, so I have to switch it off and on again. I'm probably accidentally pressing the button combination to lock it. 3- It has happened a few times that songs would disappear from the player after a while. I am not sure if I am imagining this. Not a big deal, I just add them again, but it's weird. I wonder if the player deletes some songs when I add new ones? Not sure. I usually only have to have volume setting halfway on other devices** A: The Volume is surprisingly loud ,I got nearly 1800 Flac on the internal and 32 GB card it took me a while to figure it out ,volume is very easy to set or change ,I did not expect the Flac to sound so good on a $37 player **Q: If you have your music arranged in folders, can you select different folders for it to play?** A: Yes. You can also have sub-folders to help sort your music to make it easier to use. Mine is organised by artist with sub-folders for the albums and work fine. When you select a folder it just plays the music in the folder. When it is done with the folder it does go to the next folder. **Q: Is it compatible w/Overdrive Media, the software used to download audiobooks from the public library?** A: Yes I can download books from the library using Overdrive. They are loaded in the file section. It looks like a file folder. I haven't figured out how to get the book name so I am just loading Audiobook 1, then Audiobook 2, etc. I am sure there is a way to do it I just haven't reached that level of expertise.
