Q: Does this pan have a hammered dimpled bottom? Photo shows one, but mine is not.....

Mine does not. Be sure and rub oil on the pan after it is washed.

It's black metal. Not metal covered with plastic.

Q: Just wanted to be clear, will this work on an induction stove top?

No, I do not believe it will. This is a very large stainless steel pan. It's heavy and works best over a large round gas flame. Can use on BBQ but may not fit most. Best model of BBQ would be an old fashioned round charcoal BBQ.
