ADVANING All-Weather Protective Cover for 12' Wide Retractable Awnings

I just received the cover today. I Purchased the 18' wide, and it fits our Sunsetter awning perfectly. Once I figured out the best way to tie it up it went on pretty easy. If the straps were staggered from the opposite side, it would work better, the straps are plenty long to wrap around and tie, so I just used one strap at a time. It worked good except close to the ends I needed bungee straps because I'm trying to keep the birds out. All in all, I think it's going to work well. The fabric is made of a very durable canvas.

I bought this to keep birds from nesting in our awning. I usually stuff all the gaps with plastic bags but needed a better alternative so I bought this cover. Love it. Exactly what I expected. The largest size (192”) fits out 16 foot awning perfectly. The straps are extra long and we ended up wrapping them around the awning a couple times and then tying. Worked great. Did have to use extra bungee cords on the ends but only for our bird problem. (Also the reason for the black netting above awning in the pictures.) There are loop straps on the ends so possibly the straps could go through that instead of using the bungee cord. It looks great even using it the way we did. We put it up in late February in Ohio but the weather has been extremely mild so haven’t been through full winter weather. It’s been extremely windy and it has held on very well. No shifting at all.

We bought this to protect our Advaning awning that we purchased this spring. It was a huge investment so rather than but the universal cover, we bought the one made for it. I have to say for the money, I was not impressed. It does not fit snuggly, in fact, it’s rather baggy. The ties are about 3’ too long, even when we wrapped it around through the back, to cinch it up more. I’m not a fan of how it looks, but again, it serves the purpose. For the extra it costs to buy their brand, it should fit better. It does appear to be heavy duty and will protect it from the 120+inches of snow and ice we get, but again, part of it is exposed-even though it’s the under part, it will allow for the moisture to get into the brackets and may rust. I’ll update in the spring when we open it back up

I have a Sunsetter 12 foot wide by 10 foot retractable awning. The cover that came with it took a great deal of labor to apply. This was on in less than 30 minutes and has withstood 55 mph winds in the northeast, ice, snow, and rain. It is absolutely one of the best of the year for me. It is totally waterproof. I did not have enough room between my door and my roof to put a fixed cover. This one totally covers everything. I absolutely love it.

Impossible to mount on a standard dometic awning. There is literally no eay to strap it around the as shown. Instructions just say "inatall the cover" but the cover is designed to strap a round a rolled awning, and where the end of the awning is attached to the trailer there is no place for the straps to go! Ridiculous.
