Wonderful for Fighting Plugged Ducts
I struggled through the early days of nursing with painful, plugged ducts from overproduction. Even with regular pumping/nursing, it easily led to mastitis - sometimes as frequent as bi-weekly. Initially, I attempted to treat it with homemade hot compresses, but the hot water soaked rags left me stuck in one place, constantly needed reheating, were quite messy, and not exactly discrete when you have company. This meant I wasn't doing them as often as I should have.. worsening the problem. The booby tubes (LOL the name..) allowed me to have all the heat with none of the water/mess. Unlike many other compresses, they are also free of plastic and toxic inserts, which is important to me. Booby tubes are filled with flax seeds, which have natural oils that trap heat when warmed. The "tubes" also allow you to shape the compress as needed, and it fits well within a bra. With a slightly flowy shirt, I've found you can easily use these out and about or with company in the house -- which means you can stay on your regular schedule to fight plugged ducts when they strike. Two small downsides... 1- When heated, they can sometimes form hot spots. I found just giving them a good shake or quick massage after taking them out of the microwave solved the issue. 2 - These are not washable (again, because they are filled with flax seeds; which is a good thing!), so just be careful you are leaking any milky while using them : ) I found the best "plugged duct fighting routine" was to take a hot shower, nurse/pump, and then use the hot compress between feeds after emptying.

Must-have for breastfeeding mamas!
I bought the Earth Mama Angel Baby booby tubes for myself when I had my son, and am very glad I did. I've since given them as gifts to other mamas-to-be. You can either put them in the freezer or pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds. You can also heat them in the oven if you don't have a microwave. As cold packs they were great for engorgement. As heating pads they were great for encouraging let down and soothing clogged ducts. They are super soft and comfy, don't get too hot or too cold, and are the perfect shape. The only negative is that you have to be pretty careful not to get them wet or dirty. You can use them for damp heat and you can gently spot clean them, but they aren't really totally washable. But I love them and definitely couldn't do without them - they still get pretty frequent use six months into breastfeeding.

Way better than the gel packs !
I ordered these for my third child ,i had used the NUK gel hot/cold packs wiht my last child ,and they worked great up unitl i accidently exploded the darn things in the microwave ,wich ended up making me have to stop BFing ,i was pumping mostly with my last child and using extrememly hot compresses around the breastshield while pumping was the only way i could get enoughb milk out .I found these and wanted to give them a try as i figured i can't explode these ones in the microwave and they are about the same price as the nuk ones(wich actuly seem to be almost disposable quality ) theseare wonderful i mist them before microwaving them i can get them as hot as i want ,allthough they don't stay as hot for aas long as the gel ones by nuk I don't have to worry if i forget them in the microwave .plus i plan on continuing using these after i am done BFing they make great littel hot/cold packs for booboos and stuff (i have a 2 and 3 year old as well) so these fit great around littel legs and arms ,my husband has even used them around his neck for his stiff neck .over all i would very much recomend these to any mom who is olanning on pumping at all .

Helps with let down
Bra size: 40E/40F I had a plugged duct and have a recurring bleb on my left side. I'm a working mom and pump twice a day at work. I warm them up in the microwave for about 40 seconds and put them in my bra a few minutes prior to pumping. It helps make pumping more efficient. I let down and drain faster. For blebs, it works good too. I heat it up and put it in my bra making sure my nipple is directly on the booby tube. It feels better and helps clear the bleb when I pump DIRECTLY after applying the heat compress. Pros: Comfortable on the skin, moist heat, compact, natural, fits in bra nicely. Cons: Doesn't stay hot for very long. If it's placed in your bra directly from the microwave, it'll last a good 5 minutes. It will not sit on your boob while pumping because of the fabric cover. It slides off. I'm a double pumper. I've got my hands full holding the bottles and massaging my breasts while I pump. I don't use the pumping bra because it doesn't allow me access to massage to help drain completely. Prior to this, I was using orthomed cold/hot gel pack. The heat lasts longer and because of its plastic packaging, I can rest it on my boob while I pump to maintain the heat compress. Both work great, but the booby tubes are much more discreet and comfortable on the skin.

A must for new mamas!
This product is just indispensable! I am nine days into breastfeeding and I am so glad that I ordered them before giving birth, so that I had them ready when I got home from the hospital. I have just ordered a second set, because that way I can have one pair in the freezer for after feeding and one pair ready to go in the microwave for a warm compress prior to feeding. When I finish a feeding session, I can't wait to get the ones out of the freezer for relief. They feel so good! And I think they have really helped me avoid too much discomfort with engorgement. The only cons with the Tubes are that they are not quite big enough to go all the way around each breast, and that they are not really washable, but so far I have not had any issues with getting milk or lanolin on them. If you are getting ready to breastfeed or already breastfeeding and experiencing discomfort, order these NOW!

Impossible to clean
These were great for the 12 days I could actually use them. Then my newborn had a projectile poop in their vicinity, which was so bad that I could not spot clean and had to wash, which ruined the inside. So A+ for function, F for durability due to the cleaning impossibility. Wish they had been less expensive for something that I only got to use less than 2 weeks.

Helps completely empty the breast during pumping
I've used these with two children. With my first child, I used these periodically mostly around the two bouts of mastitis that I had. With my second child, I use them consistently and I haven't had any issues with mastitis so far. With both of my children, I went through long stretches of pumping exclusively so I know exactly how much I produced during each session. I have an average supply, and WITHOUT using Booby Tubes I was able to manually express about 1 ounce after each pumping. WITH Booby Tubes on the breast (warm during pumping), I consistently got a much better yield and when I manually express at the end of my pumping session, there's very little milk left in the breast -- nothing measurable. They also help me relax while I pump which probably helps my yield too. So based on my experience, this product helps empty the breast. I have used Booby Tubes cold as well, and they're much less intense than a traditional ice pack. Unfortunately, I haven't found a use for them when I'm done breastfeeding, and I can't pass them on to someone else for hygienic reasons, but I'm grateful for them now, would recommend them, and would buy them again.

Love them!
Love love love out of all the ones I’ve tried these are my fav! Do have to replace every couple months cause the flax seeds separate and lose density. Also don’t warm them up to long or they will burn your boobs!

Minces et faciles à installer
Excellent produit!!
