DEMETER Fireplace 1 Oz Cologne, Perfume for Women and Men

Demeter never gets it wrong. This smells exactly like a damp fireplace the day after a fire. Uncanny actually. Loved it and so did my "super picky about scent" boyfriend! Wonderful for FALL.

They did achieve a smoke scent... but more like hot dogs.

I purchased this is "Fireplace" and words cannot express how much I LOVE this scent. It's smokey but almost kind of, I dunno, spicy? Like smoke with a hint of cloves or something. It is right up my alley, and something I could wear every day. My only gripe is the scent doesn't last as long as I'd like it to. Like other people have said, I reeeeeally wish this came in a roll-on oil!

If you remember those deliberately-disgusting scratch-and-sniff stickers from the '80s, this smells very reminiscent of those. Should've called it "Tire Fire" or something; it's not so much "smoky" as "acrid." A shame, because so many Demeters are so great.I'll say this for it: it's strong, and it lingers.

Husband likes this cologne. The scent is unique enough to be fun but woodsy and pleasant enough for everyday application

Smells like grilled hot dogs. Very disappointed.

Meh! Not what I expected. I didn't expect the bbq'd MEAT note to it. I was going to layer it over a smoky vanilla for a Maison Margiella By the Fireplace Type of scent....but it smells more like "Hot Dogs by the Fireplace!" I like Demeter's other fragrances, but not this one. I'll have to give it away. :(

The scent is wonderfully smoky, but it lasts for maybe 20 minutes annnnnd it's gone. It's is for sure not worth the asking price.
