This thing is fantastic, bought it for my 4 year old when she turned 4, she's had it now for 4 months and uses it a couple times a week. Takes photos and videos and has mastered the thing all by herself (the interface is not the most straightforward but kids have a way of figuring this stuff out). We get a kick out of looking at the pictures/videos she takes and seeing life through her eyes. Product feels a bit flimsy and picture quality is really mediocre (think first digital cameras 10 years ago)...and the microphone/sound quality in videos is abysmal, but I mean its not exactly an expensive product. Totally gets the job done. It has lived through a number of drops and our 1 year old has flung it around/chewed on it a number of times and there has been no issues. 100% recommend.

Purchased this for my 4 year old grand…she loves it! Easy for her to use and carry around her neck on the lanyard!

Bought this camera for my 5 yr old for Christmas. She loves it. She takes it everywhere and already know how to use it. Very simple, light weight and durable. Picture quality isn’t the best but she thinks it’s amazing. Able to download pictures to computer as well as choose from different silly picture frames. Worth the buy!!!

Update: My initial review was very disparaging because the screen appeared to be horribly scuffed without any kind of protective film, leading me to conclude that I had received a used product. After several days of use by my children, the screen appeared to be peeling in the middle - turns out there WAS a protective film, but it hadn't been attached to the little tab we'd pulled off and was so well adhered to the screen that there was no visible edge. We tore it away in segments to reveal a non-scratched screen. Thus, I am updating my review to 3-stars. It's still a cheap camera, but since the scratches turned out to be a non-issue and my kid is enjoying it I feel like it is fair to give it a decent rating. After my child field-tested it at the local aquarium, I am not super impressed with the battery life; it is surprisingly good for a cheap camera, except that kids never think to turn it off between pictures so the always-on bright screen drains it pretty quickly.From original review:One annoying feature to note. It makes a little "chirp" sound every time a button is pressed. If you're recording a video, that chirp sound will be in it. We just turned the volume all the way down but it's annoying to have to mess with that rather than just have a way to turn the sound effect off and leave the playback audio on.

bought as a birthday gift for my 3 yr old and she loves it! bought 2 more for the niece and grandson and they love theirs as well! very durable, takes good pics, comes with the sd card and charging cable! And even has a few games! WORTH THE PRICE! VERY SATISFIED WITH OUR PURCHASE!

Too small to use! Even for a 5 year old. Return policy is problematic, especially for an extension. Amazon blamed the seller for not allowing an 8 day extension for return, if there was 0 stars to give. I would.

Gifted to a 5 year old, it was a hit. Nice screen, easy enough to use and lasts a decent amount of time before needing to be charged. Price can’t be beat.
