Should it have? I am somewhat familar with repair kits but want to be sure I am clear on how to use this one.** A: No. There is no need for instructions since the procedure is obvious. You use the awl with the twisted shaft to enlarge the hole after you have removed the nail or other item that punctured your tire. Then take the lubricant that is provided and lubricate the hole using the awl. After the hole has been lubricated You thread a fiber plug into the needled shaft and insert it into the puncture until half of the material is in the tire then twist the shaft one quarter turn and withdraw the shaft and cut the protruding material even with the surface of the tire with a razor blade and the repair should be complete. **Q: What material is the "T" handle made of? Metal or plastic?** A: The handle itself seems to be aluminum, as it is non-ferrous. I removed the handle and for the size of metal is is fairly light. The business end of both tools are magnetic, so one can assume a carbon steel. **Q: What is the size of the case? i want to make sure it fits in my utv glove box.** A: I actually do not remember because I bought it for my son -who drives semi's - but my husband thinks it is around 10x12 inches. hopes this helps.. **Q: Why is there no vulcanizing cement supplied or needed with this kit ? Most plug kits include some kind of vulcanizing (rubber) cement.** A: Vulcanizing is done when a plug doesn’t work! It’s to keep you from having to buy another tire.
