These sandals run small so I needed to exchange for the next size. Overall I am pleased with this purchase. Shoes are comfortable and easy to walk in. They are easy to throw on and look good with pants, dresses, and even shorts so I will likely wear them often. There was virtually no break in period with the black pair- they were stretchy and comfortable on day one. Hopefully they will not stretch out too much. Unfortunately, they are not the Steve Madden Slinky from the 90s. They seem to have a looser fit and do make a flip-flop noise when you walk in them.

Very cute and easy to walk in all day. I find that the beige color is small and you may need to up half a size up. The black Steve Madden slinky platform are more true to size. They go with many outfits and give good height.

I ordered these because I have been running around with a shoddily made knock-off pair for years. I wanted to love them so bad but the fit was beyond terrible. I am 5'10" with size 11 feet but I am very blessed to have very average feet aside from the fact that they are big. That being said, if a shoe is the right size I have no problems fitting into the regular, average version of that shoe. I ordered an 11, I received an 11, I could not get my foot into the 11. My toes would not even get through the other side of the slinky strap and even if it had, my heel would have been hanging off the back. I will let the small feet girlies have this as I think Steve Madden's sizing for larger feet may be way off.

I want to recommend this Raffia style, and note that while it's difficult to tell, the hemp/wicker material IS INDEED stretchy and is not rough at all. Very comfortable, soft, and flexible like the fabric styles.The great thing about this material is that it lends itself to a natural look, versus the more modern/chic look that the fabric style gives. I love both, but have found this shoe matching nearly everything.I typically wear a 10, and ordered a 10, and I have no problem. I do have very wide feet, and they are SUPER comfortable and flattered in this shoe. I would say it's true to size!I love how much height these platforms give me while having a sleek profile, it's not obvious I'm in a huge heel, but it gives me large and in charge amazon height! They are incredibly easy and comfortable to walk in unlike most shoes that give you height, so they're unlike any "heel" I've ever had.They are also sexier and more well made than any shoe in my wardrobe, I feel like I got MORE than my money's worth. I'm basically in love, and think this is a new forever style essential for me.
