Just right for a 2 or 3 year old little boy come off girls really don't seem to be interested in engines steam engines Thomas the Tank Engine, I buy a sister pink dresses very stereotypical like to keep them happy kids deserve a chance in life they deserve happiness and a few nice gifts don't they. Can't send anymore really it's Thomas the Tank Engine.

I bought this train for my 2 year old for Christmas 3 months ago. I was getting my older boys remote control cars and (rightly) assumed little brother would like something remote controlled. He loves it. The two buttons are perfect for his 2 year old co-ordination abilities. It does make noise but isn't too loud or obnoxious. When it isn't played with after a while it stops working and making sound - I think this is done on purpose to save battery life which is actually a help because we often forget to turn the train off after playing with it! To get going again just turn the switch off and back on on the train and you'll be set to go. I think the price is a bit high but I am glad I bought the train set and would recommend it as a present for any kid 2-3 years old. :)

This is a brilliant toy. Our 2 year old grandson absolutely loves it.

Good appearance and the radio control works OK, though on an undeclared frequency. Conflicting messages about delivery which took a week. Requires three AAA batteries for the controller and three more for the locomotive.

To start.. we paid £12 so in that case, excellent value for money. It’s a faff putting batteries into the train part. Other than that, it’s brilliant. Easy to use controls and so far it’s hardwearing. Our 19 month old is able to use it and LOVES it (thought he does crash a lot). I would say it’s also suitable for much older.

Bought for my grandson for his 2nd birthday, he absolutely loved it, really made him laugh.

Kids love Thomas, we have some other Thomas friends for the Brio train tracks. We thought they would love a RC Thomas and they did but they struggle a bit to control it because it only turns in one direction and when you play to follow them it is not very intuitive. It should not be too difficult to add two buttons to turn and go back and forward.

Great little toy for a 1-2 year old - certainly easy to use and a great step up in terms of learning & development. It was well received as a gift and enjoyed instantly. The only issue for me was that it needs alot of batteries to run (x3 for remote, x3 for train) and when the train moves its really squeaky!! Its quite loud and I wonder if it is even meant to make this amount of noise....?!
