This one aint. - Well, as many of you know, tritium takes 12 years to go dead. So between the time of manufacture, to your hands is minus that, and in 12 years guaranteed dark. Yeah, tritium is cooler but this is far more practical. Legit peice, heavy duty and proper as expected. We got metal, we got it pointing the right direction, everything is smooth and tight. Exactly as expected. My little pouch was different, green. I bought it for the accuracy, and it seems to have it. Came in a green molle case. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Real Deal Rambo Compass Out of the 80s *by E***O on December 29, 2024* I read a lot of good stuff about the compass before I bought it but I didn’t know it was made like things were made back in the 80s, to outlast your heirs and their heirs. Opening the clam needed some effort, very strong joints. Tough thick metal encasing a free floating liquidless compass with phosphorescent tick mark and looking window. All you have to do is flash a flashlight on the compass for 5 seconds & you can read everything in the dark. Closing the compass - brakes stop the compass stops rotating in stow away mode. Also no need for a ruler. The ring rotates in clicks 3 clicks 1 degree. Once you take angles from a map all you have to do is count clicks left or right to set declination. Directions are to the T accurate when I compared it to iPhone compass app. Amazing stuff really.
