High quality Amazon Basics product, inexpensive price.
For an Amazon Basics, was quietly surprised at the quality and price of this unit. Small but mighty as any bigger models. If you don't need a 2x4 ... 4 foot long level ... then this handheld DIY level is superb. Quality made and durable. Floats quality made and installed tight. Ruler measurements along the edges are an additional benefit. Level bubble movement is fluid, easy to read, and accurate. Durable, firm plastic-rubber housing drop-proof hardy. Inexpensive price. Quick delivery.

It's a good level, works well. Bit heavy and thick.
If I have "my stuff" with me and don't have to find out I need to fix something after I left basic tools at home or the home office I would have never seen this. I was remote - jumped on Amazon after 9:00 at night , I woke up to tools and anchors all over the door step where i'm staying. My first torpedo level that was all mine was a craftsman from back when Sears was a real store and they replaced anything that died. Later I picked a Klein one up when I didn't have one with me.The good - In some ways it's easier to read - especially in sun at a distance. If you are just spot checking pictures or something , hanging the occasional cupboard or the other things you might need a level for it's at least $4.00 less than name brands I'd get. Today I needed to use to to mount boxes or frames for curcuits dropped of at the building demar that had to get to where they were needed. The hair thicker and taller, when bracing it on some items and trying to install makes it a bit hard to manage.Without putting on my glasses I could read it fine without leaning in. It is a bit heaver, thicker and taller - but overall I'm happy not spending time and money to o find a name brand that I just like. I don't know about you, but 've neer had one break. Sometimes they get on teh bottom of the wrong box and I don't see one of them for a year but they always come home. The only time the weight (and it isn't much in the overall design of life, If you have to fight faling tool belt due to a gut - or you just lost it nad now your pants are loose - it's a copyle of more ounces to figh but then again - they make tool suspenders for tose of us with current or residual thickness and wideness issues. For me it's mostly a non issue Two of my team played with it and the really liked it.In the end there's at least a portion where it's an old dued that would like the1988 level they ot from their dad to be the only leve you can buy, carry, or use,Value for money - totally there. Ease of reading (Easier than the other two) The only other caution isn't the tool. it's the user. Depending on what you are doing make sure you don't need a 4' carpenter's one. These are awesome for mounting stuff on utility walls and keeping it straight - same with pictures or paintings - no stress. Want to make sure the fllor you're laying out is level - go get a longer level (never leave it outside in humidity adn case it when not in use. The wood or steel / Aluminium . framing level agument, along when a torpedo level is probably not what you shoul duse.If you are taking a bunch out to dinner for end of porject - good time to leave your car locked up in an office garage, home - heck anyplace but on a street that's vacant by 9:30 If you are checking level for a wider area say 10'x16 feet thea easiest and most economical way is a framing level. If you aren't going to be houseflipping every six monts.Metal/wod won't matter as muhc.If you do go wood (I prefer it but I also liked the Ford Taurus YMMV) Usually you can get one a Lowes, Home Depot or any real lumber yeard. The last time I bought one as a present it was under $50 and came with a good plastic bumper case.Adding switches, handiboxes, auxilliar breaker / knife switches, etc - the Amazon is probably great. If the object isprobably up to a foot on either side you're in the right place. f it's the kitche floor - you need a better leve. meaning bigger).

Excellent Quality Level with Powerful Magnet
This Amazon Basics 24-inch magnetic spirit level is a really solid tool. In terms of its main function, accuracy is spot on – I've had no problems getting reliable level readings. What particularly impresses me is the build quality, which feels exceptionally good. It has a noticeable heft and substantial weight, clearly indicating a heavy-duty construction unlike some lighter, less sturdy levels. Another standout feature is the magnetic strip – the magnetic force is very strong, holding firmly onto metal surfaces when required. Overall, a high-quality, accurate level with an excellent magnet. Definitely recommended.

Sturdy and strong magnet
Bought 4 of these. One for each of my sons for Christmas. They loved them. Sturdy and well made.

Works.
I really thought this was going to be flimsy and cheap because of its low price. But I was surprised at it starting and how it had a little bit of weight to it. I can't comment on the accuracy of the leveling? But I don't see why it would be wrong. I did use it today to hang up a picture in my bathroom and it looks right to me. Perfect for anybody who has small storage for tools and\or who's on a budget.

Reliable and Accurate Tool for Any DIY Project
As a DIY enthusiast, I've found the Amazon Basics 9-Inch Magnetic Torpedo Level and Ruler to be a game-changer for my projects. This tool has been incredibly reliable and accurate, making it an essential addition to my toolkit. One of the features I appreciate most is the strong magnet. It holds firmly to metal surfaces, which is a huge help when I'm working alone and need to keep both hands free. The bubbles at 180, 90, and 45 degrees are clear and easy to read, providing the precision I need for various tasks. The compact size of this level makes it easy to carry around and use in tight spaces, which I encounter frequently in my projects. Despite its small size, it feels sturdy and well-built, giving me confidence in its durability. While using it, I noticed how smoothly the ruler side helped in quick measurements. It's convenient not having to switch tools constantly, especially during detailed work.If there's one thing to note, it's that the black color can sometimes blend in with dark surfaces, making it slightly harder to spot at a glance. However, this is a minor issue compared to the overall functionality and reliability this tool provides. In short, this magnetic torpedo level and ruler has become a trusted companion in my DIY endeavors, enhancing both the efficiency and accuracy of my work.
