Review: L'ANZA Does What It Says Really Well - L'ANZA is a pump light gel. I only use 1 or 2 pumps (short-medium men's cut). It has a light apple scent that disappears fast. I apply by lightly running my fingers & hands through my wet or dry hair. (Don't apply to scalp or rub into head.) I then use my hands to comb my hair. The L'ANZA leaves my hair standing with full body, however it is so light you can comb it (with fingers) any way you want. You can push it down flat and you’ll have a small amt of body. Your hair will not look, feel, or smell like you have product on. It rinses off easily & doesn't stain my pillow, much like a water-based product. Everything else I've used felt oil-based, heavy, smelled until I shampooed, & stained my pillow. Note that L'ANZA did allow some fly-away problems outdoors in the wind, but I suspect that's because I only use 1-2 pumps.
