I’ve tried many scented candles over the years, but this Apotheke Canvas candle has that special quality that makes a room feel instantly more elevated. Has incredible throw in a room, if you like the smell. It reminds me of a cross between clean laundry and acqua di gio cologne. Very strong scent.

This candle is wonderful! I got it as a gift to give to a friend but as part of the promotion, I was obligated to open it to review it. Well, I'm keeping it for myself! It is all very nice and simple with instructions on the box as to how best to light and burn it for best candle life. I did not know the first burn is so important to let it burn until the melted was puddle is as wide as the full candle. After a few hours, I barely made it that far but had to leave the house so hopefully I fulfilled the requirements closely enough. ;) I can't state anything about how long the candle itself lasts because I'm not going to wait a month or more to write my review. Well, I guess the was quality is pretty good because like I said, after a few hours it had not burned down very much. I can tell you how nice the scent is!! It's not overbearing, but it's just, um, pretty. Almost like a fresh laundry pretty but softer and more bougie (as the packaging states LOL). Yes, rich smell good. haha You almost can't tell the whole room smells good unless you leave and come back in. Which is a good thing in my book.

I didn’t like the smell nasty odor at the end

This candle has a clean fresh scent, not heavy or overpowering. The scent upon opening the container was quite strong and I was questioning whether it was the right choice for me on a rainy day when I just wanted something light and cheerful. However, once lit, it took some time to build the fragrance. I had the deck door open, which was a factor, but even with several hours of burn time the candle remained pleasant but not intense. Since that first time, I have used the candle again with similar results. The scent stays clean and light. Many of my candle choices are for bolder scents, but I enjoy this one when I want a gentle effect that's not super flowery, such as for entertaining on game day. The candle burns fairly evenly. It did emit a couple of sparks which took me by surprise, but it settled in quickly afterwards with no more surprises. It took a while to pool on the first use, but I consider that fairly common. The cost is on the higher end of what I normally see for a candle of this size, but I've already had several uses with it and expect it to last for several more, providing reasonable value.

In my opinion, this is a great scented candle. It was larger than I was expecting, which is nice for the price. It seems to burn smoothly and after a few days of use really seems to have only gone done a tiny amount. The scent is strong and fills the room when burning but I didn't feel it was overpowering. The biggest caveat, like many things, is if you like the scent or not. Scent is listed at white mush, lily of the valley and "dew drops." I'm not sure what dew drops are supposed to smell like (ozone?) but the only scents I pick up are the white mush and lily, with the white musk being the stronger by far. I personally like the scent. My wife doesn't care for it and feels the candle smells like middle school perfume. So that's the challenge. If you like white musk, this is a really nice candle and fills the room while burning nice and slow. If you don't, well, probably find a scent you like :) For me this is a great buy.
