A great IR illuminator for the money.
This torch provides super intense illumination for your digital night vision scope. The beam adjusts from quite narrow to pretty wide, giving you a lot of flexibility. Use it with a scope mounted on a rifle or with digital NV goggles or a monocular. Gives digital NV a whole new dimension. Bring 940nm is a plus, too, since it is less visible to critters. The only drawback I see is the fact that it is slightly loose where the outer barrel rotates over the main body to adjust the beam, but a wrap or two of electrical tape seems to help. Other torches I’ve used that had a similar issue actually had grooves for o-rings, which tightened them up nicely. This one does not, but it’s not the end of the world.

Good IR light
Great IR light for about 100bucks. Used my camera phone to take photo. Used $5,000 gen4 PVS-14's. Bright area is wide angle IR Torch I left on a chair. It's waaay clearer in person, photo not so good..

Very bright!
Love the 940nm almost no red glow. Much less visible than 850nm torches. Great illumination at 200m.

This product is advertised as no glow and it is not. The IR source is clearly visible to the naked eye. Other than this very strong construction and illumination.

Mir ist klar, dass auch 940nm LEDs an der Quelle nicht komplett unsichtbar sind aber das rote Leuchten der Lichtquelle ist deutlich und problemlos sichtbar. Je größer die Distanz, desto auffälliger und deutlicher wird es. Bei einer Entfernung von ca. 50m war die Quelle sichtbar wie ein kleines Bremslicht. Die Beschriftungen auf der Lampe deuten zwar auf 940nm hin aber aufgrund der guten Sichtbarkeit habe ich eine verbaute 850nm Diode vermutet. Leider kann ich den Aufdruck auf der Diode mangels Mikroskops nicht überprüfen. Somit bleibt die Lampe eine Enttäuschung.

Überzeugende Loesung! Praxisgerecht!
Besitze auch die XB 5 mit 940 Nm. Kein großer Unterschied. Beides empfehlenswerte und regulierbare IR Lampen Reichweite voellig ausreichend! Günstiger Akkuversorgung (18650). Mehr Geld muss man nicht investieren.

Leider nicht schussfest
Super Strahler in 940nm, leuchtstark und gut zoombar. Leider schon bei .308 Win nicht schussfest, ist beim dritten Schuss dauerhaft ausgefallen.
