I'm a fat guy and I always sleep pretty hot with normal blankets. I love this one, very light but not like a sheet. Feels cool to the touch. Plan on buying another as soon as my cats destroy the one I have.

I’m one of those people who needs to have a cover in bed, even in hot weather. A sheet works fine, but I saw this blanket and it looked more comfortable, and it is.Looking at other reviews about shrinkage as well as the washing directions that came with the blanket, I washed it and air dried it before using. I’ve been sleeping under it for just over a week. As others have said, when it’s wet and hanging to dry, it has a stiff feel to it, but once it’s fully dry, it becomes super soft, cool to the touch, and it feels great against the skin.So here’s the rub—I’ve only been using it a week, and everyday I’m clipping threads that have come loose. It’s not just 1-2 either, it’s all over the blanket. I’m afraid by the end of a month, I’ll have holes in it. I’ll try to remember to come back and update.Update: It’s getting hot so brought my blanket out for the second summer. I clipped the loose threads off and there haven’t been many more. I still love the blanket and am glad I bought it.

Many years ago my family bought me a very thin, but not sheet, blanket and I always use it for summer because its pretty extreme where I live.I have been searching for YEARS for a suitable spare/replacement with no luck. UNTIL NOW.The color is a bit lighter than the product images but still a very soft alice blue.Taking it out of the package it was larger than expected and weighed more than I thought it would. X"DHOWEVERUpon unfolding it I found out this blanket was huge! And the weight unfolded is negligibleThe blanket is very thin, but it doesn't feel cheap or like your fingers will go through it. Very good quality!There was a very light factory/new blanket smell on it. But after washing it went away.I washed it cold on Delicate with a small amount of vinegar to preserve color. I DID use washer and dryer dispute instructions. Dryer was put on the mid/lower setting of the Delicate cycle as well.Blanket survived without incident and is still very big and soft. :DI'm ready for summer! <3

This blanket does it's job and keeps me cool all night, I even get a little too cold sometimes and have to turn down my fan. But I'm really disappointed in the quality of the material. It's pilling and threads are popping up. I bought this in February 2021 and now it's close to the end of May 2021 and it looks like I've had it for years with all the fraying. I've only washed it twice and NEVER put it in the dryer as it instructed not to. I hung it to dry in my house. So why is it already falling apart? I don't recommend this blanket. Go for a better quality material instead of the bamboo.

I love the feel but I put it on my bed before reading washing directions and it fit with about 4 inches on each side hanging over.. When I saw the directions which said, wash prior to using, I removed it and washed it on delicate with cold water then hung it up in my airconditioned living room draped across the room under my ceiling fans. Six hours later it was still wet still so I put into my dryer for an hour on Air setting, still wet after that so I put it back for 15 minutes under delicate in my dryer. This blanket is very soft and cozy but no longer fits on my King Size bed and only fits one of us. I think it is totally ridiculous to sell something with drying instructions that are over whelming to the average person much less a senior citizen. Had I had any idea it would be so much trouble to wash, I would not have purchased it.

I’m not sure that people are washing correctly when they get it because mine didn’t shrink at all. I filled my sink with cold water with detergent and fabric softener. I then took the blanket out of the package massaging it for a couple minutes in the shower to get it thoroughly wet. After that I put it in the sink and swished it around for like 5 minutes then rinsed it out in the shower again. Let it air dry on the shower rod and it was same size and soft. I live in as where triple digits are Normal for spring and summer and it’s amazing. We don’t have ac, we have swamp cooler so this is a life saver for monsoon season. People complaining don’t read instructions or are incompetent at every aspect of life, obviously.

Looks nice, feels nice but that's where the good bit stops. After reading through the care instructions I realized I would be spending more time looking after the blanket than I would actually using it. No machine wash. No machine dry. Fine threads catch on the smallest thing (even a small imperfection in a toe nail) and results in pulled threads which easily become extensive over time.Information provided indicates shrinkage which restores during the drying phase. Not really so. Yes, it shrinks and no matter how carefully instructions are followed, the end result is it stays shrunk.As I said in the beginning, "Looks Nice". If you just want to enhance the appearance of your bed, it's good, but for practical use as a "throw rug" a waste of time.No more "bamboo" fiber stuff for me.

I brought the large blanket that should have been 79×91. After the initial wash before use the measurement was approx: 73X83, once drying was complete aprox: 73X73. I tried to use as a throw but small pieces and fuzz rubbed off on my clothing and sofa. It did randomly cool feet, but not body parts that was cloth. The thought of manual washing and drying the blanket in future was too much. A wet blanket is extremely heavy and hard to remove water. This was return.

First of all they claim they are cooling blankets and now after for a couple of weeks they are literally falling apart...Not to mention they are pilling up so bad they leave chunks all through out our bed, they are garbageOnly washed once on cold, hand wash cycle and hung to dryDO NOT BUY

I purchased two of these. However I am disappointed with one of them as I have noticed today that one of the two have started pilling (See the attached photo). I am trying to work out how to contact the seller in order to arrange a return of this product.

Really works - breathes well and is much cooler than regular blanket. Only gripe is that it is delicate wash and not to be hung out in the sun or tumble dried (per the washing instructions received with product) which makes it a bit of a pain to clean. I machine washed on delicate cycle and hung it in a shaded spot.

Maybe it suite 4-seasons country. It doesn't suite tropical warm and humid weather.
