This is a GREAT wine bottle opener! Those people I have given it to love it also. You center and rest it onto the cork in the wine bottle and push the lower part of the switch button. The corkscrew moves down, engages the cork, and extracts it from the bottle. To remove the cork from the opener, push the top part of the switch button. This reverses the corkscrew action and pushes the cork out. There is no wrestling, no sore hands from twisting, no wings to push down. Just simply hold this attractive and easily held opener with your thumb or finger on the button, The opener takes care of the rest. It's a delightful solution to a somewhat annoying problem. It makes me smile or laugh every time I use it.

It works really well. You just have to be very careful how you place it over the cork and then hold the bottle firmly as you press the on button.

Doesn’t work at all. Bought as birthday gift and was embarrassed when we added batteries and it didn’t work in the slightest bit. Will return - won’t repurchase.

Corkscrew does not go in straight and often breaks the cork. Battery operated motor is not strong enough part of the time, very dissapointed.

Works well for me. My hands don't work too well. I don't have to ask for help anymore. Doesn't work when the batteries are dying.
