Works very well. Set up is everything

thought this looked like a real cool alternative to making lousy 45degree mitres or fairly decent rabbets. Unfortunately, set up takes for ever even with the guide block. I will say, despite watching maybe 6 videos, i was only able to get acceptable cuts going with the grain on long pieces. End grain? forget it. Small pieces - forget it. But that is the nature of the beast. Even bought a new powerful saw and new router table hoping to be able to use this. chops the hell out of every small board and end grain cut. I'm not sure making a small box using this is really a good use of this bit, unless you want to cut say an entire board with the grain, and then have the grain vertical rather than horizontal on the finished box. But I'm a rookie. Your mileage may vary.

Excellent product. Once I removed the protective gel coating the bit was fine underneath.

I didn’t use the set up block because the hardwood I used was a little heavier than 3/4 Found a great YouTube video for set up. But works great. Joints are perfext

I found it pretty straight forward to set up. Watch the video Amazon has up. No real need to buy the jig. It does help to plane the boards before using router to make sure warps are out.

Did not come with a template or directions. Have tried but not been successful at making a good joint.

Great router bit. Made these drawer boxes out of hard maple. The joints are strong and look great. Easy to glue up. The set up block makes it easy to set up the bit at the proper height.
