It sucks up water best after you soak it and wring it out. If you are using it on a dog, you might want to soak it in water that is close the dog's temperature. I the dog is long-haired and already soaking, try wrapping it dry against the dog, it may take a few seconds longer to get soaked but save you the presoak time. If that works, write a review so others can benefit.

How many sheets are in a pack

There two in the two pack I ordered . You get however many it says on pack 2, 4, 6 ect hopes helps .
