Works well
Works very well. No directions for installation with the product although not complicated. Would be nice if it had a lower profile but works very well to attach a light with a handbar type strap.

Great universal mount! Great service from seller!
This is great mount for any bike helmet! The straps for this mount are very long, but for good reason! You are supposed to get the mount fitted tightly then you can cut them. At first, I cut the straps too short and placed them on incorrectly. I contacted the seller and they wrre incredibly helpful and sent me another one! I appreciated their service a lot! Now the mount works great and fits secure!

Well made, better if strap had a plastic loop thingie
works ok, the straps are long on each side (15 inches measured) so i kept cutting them down to about 3-4 " per side. depending on the helmet, another thin piece of foam or rubber would help if affixed to the helmet. these are required equipment for night rides here in the northeast, everyone seems to have these. good construction, sturdy, just put a plastic loop on one end to be able to secure the strap tightly.

Doesn't work great for Serfas E-Lume
The concept is great. Just add a rounded bar like mount to your helmet or wherever so you can use the handlebar light mount that more-than-likely came with your light. Unfortunately my Serfas E-Lume lights just do not fit well. I can technically get them on but even as tight as they go, they just lean way too forward. The furthest back I could get it with some tamperint was just blasting right infront of my handlebars. Way too close for practical trail function.I also don't like the elastic. It comes WAY too long. Which is fine, you can just cut it down. But elastic just doesn't hold as stable during rides. I got a cheap light helmet mount off Temu that actually works way better because it uses strong rubber-band-like rings. Much more stable mount with less shakiness.Again, I think this is a good idea and could very well be the light mount for you, but avoid if you wanna mount the Serfas E-Lume line.

Easy to attached to bike helmet
I've rad some reviews of difficulties attaching this but seriously - its got 2 long velcro straps and you weave in thru/around the holes in your bike helmet and fasten. Its velco for crying out loud - nobody messes velcro up. Attach your bike light using the handlebar mount it likely came with to the round mount and go night ride. 'nuff said.

Extra wide base; very long straps (you're meant to cut them)
I'm not a huge fan of the extra-wide base, although I suppose it's meant to improve stability. The velcro straps are extremely long and are meant to have the excess cut off, which could be kind of nice if you want to mount this on a very large helmet or one without conveniently located ventilation.
