It works
The brush did the trick. It was long enough to fit down into the drain and scrub the gunk stuck on the sides.

Worth it.
It's a multi use product to clean smaller cylinders. Nothing left to say. It came with two smaller brushes that can be used for reusable straws which in itself is priceless.I used the primary brush to clean my humidifier which has cylinders that become unsanitary over long term use. I don't need that bacteria being spread through the air.

It did the job I bought it for
I was surprised how small and fragile (flimsy) it looked when I received it. I had bought it to clean out a dishwasher vacuum breaker line (from the air gap to the garbage disposal) which was partially blocked. To my surprise the brush worked quickly and easily despite the small diameter of the wire.If you are intending to do the same, be sure to wrap a paper towel around it as you pull the brush out or the bristles will spray the dirt all over.

It is what it is!
Bought this to clear a blocked pipe but found the brush to be tooooo soft. The bristles bend and don't do anything. If it's a slight cleaning that you want to do, go for it. The brush head is good for 1/2 inch nothing larger.

Happily surprised.
I have used Plink, Hair/Grease dissolver, super strong vinegar, another drain crystal whose name escapes me, and plunging. To no avail.Just an annoying, constant, slow drain in my bathroom sink that kept my sink dirty and gross because it never drained fast enough. Then I bought this. I pushed this down my drain and then withdrew it, and it barely had anything on it. I did it one more time. Still didn’t bring anything up, but I ran the water.VOILA. A sink that drains, for the first time in over a year. Sometimes I go into the bathroom and turn on the water just to watch it go down the drain.Love this product.

be aware
this is probably not the brush you are expecting. instead of braided metal being used to form the length of the brush, this brush is made of a long, narrow, extension spring. Immediately 2 issues result - pushing in the brush is more like pushing rope - you can only go so far the spring will bend, twist, deflect - I got less than 9” into the tube I was trying to clean. Pulling the brush out you are now working “against the spring” so if there is any resistance you are lengthening the spring - not removing your brush.finally is the quality of the brush. after getting 9” in to plastic tube, I was removing the brush when the “spring” broke and the head was in the tube. thankfully I could get it with hemostats - but imagine if that happens 30” into what you are cleaning - your maintenance has now made a bigger issue. I am not going to lie and tell you that I don’t understand why anyone would make a brush this way. if you were going to use it for a drain - I don’t think you will ever get any scrubbing and I also don’t think you could get it to turn and definitely not advance beyond a trap.really frustrated because now I have to order another brush, wait another several days and then get to the project I started a week ago! I should say that drain snakes are constructed this way, but it is a torsion spring and is far more resilient to stretching. This spring is made up of paper clip thick wire and has a very low tension strength.I cannot recommend this product for any task other than decorative.
