My daughter gets the fatigue reaction as part of her autism. When it has suddenly come on, she's missed aspects of her class room learning whilst she takes a break. She trialled her large weighted blanket on her lap and it worked wonders. This cost twice the price of her large blanket but is worth its weight (hehe) in gold as its easier to carry.Very soft on one side and the velvety side has little bubbles which I keep popping in as another pops out - an added sensory joy!

I'm an adult with anxiety and a high stress job. This really helps to decompress after work. It's soft and tactile too. It's the best tool I've bought for my mental welfare in years.Update: I'm going through some really stressful times and I have to say, this helps sp much. Its like I can take a break, just for a bit. Perfect size for an adult’s lap and just the right amount of weight... lovely and subtle for my friend to use in her wheelchair as a full blanket would drape alll over but she says the effect is the same
