Genuine Honda 14310-R44-A01 Vtc (46T) Actuator Assembly

2008 Accord EX-L - Well it fits perfectly and its working just fine. The reason it was changed was due to the morning's rattle sound for about 3 seconds at engine start and that Honda put out a service bulletin. It was changed Saturday....so for two days in row the rattle noise is gone....I just hope it stays away forever.

Atc worked perfectly. But making the same rattle noise one later.

Bit of a bear to install, however it worked fine in my 2008 Honda Accord 2.6L. No more grinding noise at startup. I now have a couple of error codes that indicate that my timing chain is stretched....off to replace a timing chain now! OkUpdate: timing chain replacement did the trick! No more error codes and car has been running wonderfully ever since

I have been driving around with the new vtc gear installed for about 4 months now. Completely fixed the knocking on cold start, issue has not returned. I will adjust my review if it does.Update, I got a little over a year out of this before the rattle returned.

WHY is this part still being sold?! This is the original part that makes the grinding noise on start-up, and if you replace it with a new one the problem comes back. The correct part is 14310-R5A-305, which is updated and has the issue resolved.
