Why isn't there any real description of the scent? how am i supposed to buy if i have no idea what it smells like?

You're not buying it for the scent. These colognes are subject specific so if you need your path opened, this is the cologne to use regardless of the scent. The color green is always used for "Abre Camino" or "Road Opener". The name will keep the subject forefront in your mind so you can begin to manifect an open path in your life. All of their products are lightly scented and you only need a little.

Can this be used the same way one would use the oil?

It can be worn the same way but not used in candle work or anywhere near an open flame since it's alcohol based.
