When filled with batter they are still wobbly so you obviously have to put them on a cookie sheet before placing in the oven. Some people commented that they didn't have to use parchment paper, however, I made carrot cake and because of the moisture and or high butter content they stuck to the bottom of the pan. I was able how to remove the cakes carefully by turning the sides outward while upside down but it's still stuck, so with this type of cake you may want to use parchment paper. They were easy to clean and I believe they will last a lot longer than a traditional metal pan.

There is a bit of a learning curve with this item as you will have to be careful with picking it up prior to your item cooking. Placing it in the oven with raw cake dough was a little tricky at first, because I did not take into account the flexibility of the pans and almost lost all of my cake batter. This item should be pick up from the bottom with one hand underneath to secure it. Removing it from the oven was a piece of cake. (No pun intended.) Clean up was so easy and the best part you never have to worry about your pans getting nicked or any of the other concerns of a metal pan.

My mother in law wanted some silicone pans and I saw these and thought they would be a great present. She been needing some silicone pans and I’m glad to help start her off. Haven’t used them yet but they seem like good quality.

I have 3 pictures to show how it did my cake. I waited til it cooled completely which was about 1hr. Still could not get it all to come out easily. I buttered the sides and bottom like it said to do. I cooked at 325 for 22 mins and it was fully done. Cake boxes and companies do not tell you at what temp you cook their products for depending on what pan you use, silicone they have nothing for. I used the lowest temp they gave and checked it 3 times to determine perfect time.Also I didn't put on a cookie sheet, I placed right on the rack like they said it could be done. It worked fine, wasn't to flimsy to carry with cake stuff.
