These shoelace literally changed my life!!
I’m recovering from a total hip replacement because of it.THESE SHOELACES ARE AMAZING!!!I’m unable to break an angle of 90 degrees so I literally cannot tie my own shoelaces. These laces have allowed me to turn my tennis shoes into “slip-on’s” and I have an alternative to having to wear my slippers out in public!!Although I do not own a pair of “J’s” like my husband, my husband stole the first pair I bought from me for his multi-colored “J’s”.Evidently they are not just functional but are also “fashionable”!🤦🏻♀️😂🤣😂🤣I’d highly recommend that this seller include in “DME” or “medical” to the discription of these!!I’m more than thrilled to be able to wear my Reebok’s now!!🙏🏼I’m going to get more so that I can at least temporarily convert two more pair into shoes I can wear that are not slippers!!With the color selection, they actually will work so well that I may never switch them back!!I am also going to get two pair for my step dad because for different reasons, he’s unable to tie his shoes and KEEP them tied. These will eliminate the fall risk he has from them coming untied!! In this picture is all of the items I currently have to use to get dressed and put in shoes and socks. As you can see, I left them much longer than they should be or need to be to leave room for any possible error.I do recommend that you keep them a tad bit longer than necessary to make sure the fit is good. After a couple of hours of wear, you’ll be able to set them to the right and comfortable length!!

Turned my hiking shoes into slip-ons. Yay.
I will probably never go back to old-style laces. Once you get the hang of how to use these, I don’t think you will either. This is my third set of this type of lace, and while you probably won’t want to use them for dress shoes, they work very well for my walking, hiking, and casual shoes. They are tricky to set up, and while the instructions are reasonably clear, there are two important things to remember. Do not cut off the plastic ends of the laces before lacing up the shoe. If you do, you will have one devil of a time threading them through the spring-loaded piece. Take it from one who learned the hard way. Also, get the length right before you attach the end piece and squeeze it shut. Once shut, you will probably destroy it if you need to get it off.

Satisfying and useful!
Quite possibly the most satisfying AND useful purchase from Amazon. I bought these as well as the Udaily silicone laces. These were so much easier to install! Took maybe 2 minutes all together. Just lace them up as you normally would, add the spring device, cut ends to desired length and add clip at end. So simple and my shoes feel secure on my feet unlike with the silicone laces. You can tighten or loosen them as much as you want. The clip at the end was sort of hard to clip together and I'm not sure how long it will last, but I really don't think it's necessary except to keep the ends of the laces together. There are other ways of doing that anyway. The price was cheaper than some other brands. You get 2 of everything, so one for each shoe. Bonus: they have a lot of different colors to choose from!

The cambuckle is not always well made
I have gotten several packs of these over time. They take some work to get right, but once you have them done, they're great. You insert the lace as you would a shoe-lace, but the cambuckle does not always push open evenly, or when pushed down, doesn't open the hole enough to put the "lace" through it. I did manage to get them open using a little McGeyver ingenuity. Once passed through the cambuckle, you adjust it to the tightness you want, tie a knot and cut off the excess (or push it down into the other laces in case you want to adjust it if it stretches out. I have used them on several tennis shoes/sneakers to give me a slip on advantage (I'm one of the older ones who doesn't want to spend too much time bending over tying shoes).

Apricot color is actually neutral.
Elastic seems good, not too soft so I think they will last. There are no instructions included but if you look at picture you should be able to figure it out. The "apricot" color I ordered is actually pretty neutral, it's kind of a beige or khaki shade. I thought it might be too pinky orange but I like the color and it was one of the cheaper laces at $3.99 at the time of this review. Plastic parts are are okay not the best, not super cheap, we'll see how long they last. Maybe the color description turned people off from buying this color but I'm happy with purchase.

Washing limitations? Nothing explanatory included.
No instructions as to applying tips and no invoice eenclosed. Purchased through third party. Had to go to YouTube and they were lax in tip demo. Who cares about person opening pkg! And other YouTube was so fast never did see tip app. It should be self explanatory, but had problems with them locking onto lace tips. Also difficult removing laces once tip has been applied for washing tennies. Guess will need to wash them all together with plastic on. Not sure how long they will last going through the washer. . .another concern. Great idea but should preinform about washing limitations.

No Directions
So far my only complaint is that there were no directions included with the product. This isn't a really big deal since they are basically just shoelaces with clips. But it would be nice to have had some instructions on reopening the clasp since one lace slipped out just as I clipped it shut. I managed to get it open again.Others have commented that they liked this laces but the button clip broke after a short time. I haven't had them long enough to see if this is the case. But I can say that I like having the elasticity. I have extremely wide feed. (EEEE) and it's nice to have the extra stretch.

Quality, make laces easy
Bought the peach colour & not true to picture & expectations colour-wise (more like a latte colour). Still, they are such good quality that I'll keep them & wear them in other shoes.
