Works great and looks gorgeous.
I bought the Mozsly watch winder on 10/21. It has worked flawless 24/7 so I personally have had no complaints. It looks stylish, well finished and it fit right into my decor. It suddenly stopped working 2 weeks ago so I figured the motor must be bust. Don't throw away your watch winder as Mozsly offers a replacement motor and control panel for a very reasonable price or you can just shop around for a 3V watch winder motor. The motor was the culprit so 'm back in business for the next 2 1/2 years.

Care for a vintage watch
I don't have a large watch collection. I have a couple of watches that I wear, and that's about it. I inherited my Dad's vintage Rolex DateJust Oyster Perpetual (1971) a few years back. It didn't work well, so it wasn't until recently that I got it serviced. Runs like a top ... when I remember to wind it. It's an automatic, so it'll self wind if I wear it, but it's not a watch I wear all the time. I kept it in it's box, which means "out of sight, out of mind".The Mozsly allows me to keep my watch wound all the time, and because I *see* it, I'll take it out more often and actually wear it. The Mozsly is quiet (I can sit right in front of it and not hear it while it's winding). It has a simple purpose, and it does it's job well. It was easy to set up; I'm just testing to see which speed setting I need to use consistently. If I had any complaint at all about it, it's that the setting switches on the back require me to turn the box around to actually look at them when I want to change settings. But, maybe that's not such a bad thing. Now, my watch is always ready to go when I want to wear it!

Has potential, but with one serious design flaw!
UPDATE...Unfortunately, I had to return this watch winder. The company never contacted me to offer a solution which is truly a shame because this winder has potential but, at the end of the day, it's their loss. If you have any sort of diver's watch, STEER CLEAR OF THIS WINDER because it will NOT accommodate it!As an alternative, I decided to go with another brand and model of watch winder instead (Heiden Monaco single watch winder), which will easily accommodate any diver's watch and, while a bit more expensive, you get what you pay for.---------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW...This watch winder looks really nice and I have no reason to think that it wouldn't work well under different circumstances, but it cannot accommodate thicker watches. To begin, the lid that screws on the front is only 3/4" thick (measuring its outside) which means the lid's inner dimensions are less......so when I screw on the lid, my watch touches the inside of the glass which prevents the watch from spinning freely. That completely defeats its function. This company should have thought matters through more and designed the lid with another 1/4" in depth, or designed it with a convex bubble shape to the glass, then there would be no problem. Until they do, I have to give it a low rating because it's not functional.Leaving the lid off also defeats the purpose because then there's no protection to the watch or dust prevention that the lid would provide while the watch is being wound. Also, noise is increased some with the lid off. This is a complete design oversight as the company should've realized that not all watches are super thin. A simple remake of the lid by making it another 1/4" deeper or making the glass convex in shape would solve the issue I'm experiencing (and that others have, too).If they can provide a solution, then I'll change my rating. Also, the company should consider redesigning the lid to hold on with magnets instead of threads. This would make it much easier and less cumbersome to remove and reattach.

A Winder the Punches Well Above It's Weight
If your watch collection has grown to the point it is difficult to consistently wear/wind them enough to keep them running, this is an excellent product to start with. I bought this winder to accompany 3 automatic watches (2 with Seiko movements and 1 with an ETA movement) and so far it has performed to or exceeded expectations.Firstly, when you receive the product it is packaged quite well and steps are taken to provide a more premium unboxing experience than one might expect. Everything is protected well and they provide a very detailed user manual that explains just about any base question you might have. The only thing I would have liked included which wasn't are batteries (the winder can use battery or direct power), but this is essentially a non-issue.The winder itself is a little strange in that the outer material is soft and feels like leather or a faux-leather material. I wasn't expecting that to be the case, and I would prefer it to be a hard material, but it does feel good to the touch and the material seems as though it will hold up over time. The winder has a good amount of heft to it and looks good on a shelf or table. Operationally, the winder is straightforward and simple to set up. the only hiccup you may have is determining the direction it winds and how many rotations per day (RPD) to select. A google search of your watch/movement will give you the information most of the time, but finding more uncommon movements can take a bit of time. The only issue I ran into was the pads you put the watch on and insert into the winder. It comes with two pads, one compressible cube and a smaller, more contoured pad. In my experience you have to play with both pads a bit to see which watch they fit and what is the best way to situate them on the pad. Also, the compressible cube seems to put (relatively) a lot of pressure on the watch band so it may be appropriate for a delicate metal bracelet or other such strap. However, once you get your watch on the pad in in the winder, it works perfectly well and essentially silently. My winder is very close to the bed and I have not once heard it while in operation. Unless you put your ear right next to the motor and are looking for the sound you'd probably forget it is running.Overall, for the price, I haven't come across another winder that ticks as many boxes as this product does. The Mozsly winder provides just about all the features of a Barrington or Wolf winder and, while those products might be more aesthetically pleasing, on a functional level this winder competes with them across the board. If you're in the market for a new winder or are thinking about your first the Mozsly should absolutely be considered.

Update - Short Lifespan - fixed
Update!**I was contacted by Mike from Mozsly who wanted to help with this issue. He indicated it could be either the motherboard or the motor and said he would send both out and if it's just the motherboard, i can keep the spare motor. Both replacement parts were shipped and delivered within a couple weeks which is good considering Black Friday and Xmas shipping is picking up now. The replacement of the motherboard was extremely simple and took less than 10 minutes. Plugged the unit back in, turned the power on and the unit is working perfectly again. It's easy to complain when something goes sideways but it seems harder to offer praise when something goes well.I really want to thank Mike and his team at Mozsly for stepping up to help with this. I'm happy again and looking forward to many years of use, knowing if something stops, there are parts available to replace if they should fail.**My wife purchased this unit as a Christmas gift last year. Initially it worked fantastic and as described. It has bi-directional rotation features so you can select clockwise, counterclockwise or both. I'd like to say while operating, the unit is as close to silent as you can get. It was sitting on my fightable and i never heard the unit while in operation. It worked great until it didn't.About a month ago it just stopped working. The instructions are very clear that the unit needs to be turned off before you remove/install a watch into the winder. This was done every time so motor damage as a result of not following the instructions isn't the case. I tried moving it to a different wall outlet and still nothing. It has just stopped functioning. Now it just sits there and looks great but doesn't work and that is unfortunate. I'm giving 2 stars because while it was working, it worked great.
