I started coloring with pencils for my occupational therapy and needed a quick sharpener that wouldn't waste my colored pencils. I received it earlier then expected, and this pencil sharpener did not disappoint. I can turn it if I just want to manually sharpen my pencils or have it set to automatic. Very simple and only takes 2 battieries.

I like to draw with colored pencils. Years back I had this exact pencil sharpener. I had stopped drawing for a while and just started again. I couldn't find where I put this sharpener and just bought another one in the store. After trying about 4 pencil sharpeners that would always break my pencil points off I remembered I had this one in the past. I looked it up on Amazon and ordered it. Well, it is still the best pencil sharpener out there! I would definitely recommend this pencil sharpener if you want one that consistently works for you and doesn't break all of your pencil points!

This is a great little pencil sharpener, I have like 150 random unsharpened pencils from last year. I got my sharpener yesterday and sharpened them all in like 5 minutes. It was great. And it comes with a extra blade! Only problem is that the non slip pads on the bottom don't really do anything. And the sharpener hole is a little big for a standard Ticonderoga. So it is a little uncomfortable to sharpen those type of pencils. But it did do the job. For about 8 dollars, this is a great pencil sharpener. It is nice that is has both a manual and automatic option.

I really love this sharpener. The ability to go from auto to manual is nice. I will say the auto doesn't work as well as I would like, just not very smooth rotation but it doesn't matter much since it isn't a big deal to use manual mode and the results are fantastic. I also really like that they include a replacement blade, very nice touch.

this is the best sharpener i've ever used, and i've use many many of them. i use it for coloured pencils and even the temperamental Prisma are sharpened easily and well with an amazing sharp point and not breakage.there are two modes, battery and manual and i usually use the manual setting. seems i have more control.UPDATE! there is a huge problem is changing out the tool carrier - can't get the thing out to change the sharpening part. and i can't find a video that shows the proper way. so i reduced my stars to 3 from 5.the price is perfect!

I fought this as a colored pencil sharpener. It doesn't have enough power to even sharpen a standard number two pencil. I tested my batteries. They had 98% charge. I changed batteries just to make sure. It still barely turns even empty. May as well just use it manually. Waste of money. I'd return it but don't want to waste more money on shipping.

I am amazed at how well this little sharpener works. I have it out so music students waiting for their lessons can use it. When I first got it, I had to sharpen pencils, of course, to try it out. All I can say is, I’m very happy with this little gadget. Well worth the money, and inexpensive!
