This is a great option to the RX version if you are diagnosed with very low vitamin D. Be sure to get regular bloodwork when taking this as it can raise your levels far above the recommended safe limits if you take it for too long. It's really intended to correct a deficiency and then you can take lower dosages to maintain. The quality is good as my wife got her levels up to the max, and the pills are smal enough for her to swallow without any problem. They have no taste and one gel pill will take care of your deficiency. Vitamin D regulates many things from immune system support to bone density and other key body systems, and most people are low on it. People with darker skin or very pale skin tend to be lowest as dark skin produces less from the sun and pale skin usually means little to no sun exposure, so no D production.

Awesome product. Small pill, no aftertaste, seems to be working well with my body. Definitely recommend for someone with low vitamin D. Definitely talk to your doctor before purchase and get blood work done to know your levels.

So, I have to admit I made a huge mistake. I didn’t read the bottle and took one of these daily. My D levels have always been low and I thought, why not get a really high strength? Well, it worked. Too well. Now my vitamin D is off the charts! Not a good thing but luckily I hadn’t been taking it too long so it has not had an impact on my organs. Bottom line - is it effective? Yes. Is it easy to take? Yes. Does it get absorbed by the body? Definitely yes. Just don’t take it every day unless advised by your doctor.

On time delivery, this is my second bottle. My vitamin D levels are good, so, what more can I say?

So far so good I started a week ago and felt better within 48 hours 1 a day for 6-12 weeks based on previous prescriptions I have had with this UI dose due to vitamin D deficiency, for me there are normally signs and my legs thighs and buttocks tells me every time there is a weak and tired feeling. The difference is D2 works at a (prescription) slower pace so I definitely will only use these once a week with a meal including a fat source to aid D3. look it up these work at a faster rate so I definitely will not go past 6-12 weeks and then use a lower daily dose to maintain my levels.
