Bad design, bad execution
Worse revolver stocks I have ever held. Mismatched, huge, angular, painful. Just don't.

Nice very nice! Gives my 642 some class! Took 2 minutes to install fits my palm better than the original rubber grips and better trigger control!I still like the rubber but now I have 2 to choose from!

Doesn’t fit S&W .38 bodyguard.
These grips do not fit a S&w .38 bodyguard revolver. Waste of my time and out money!!

Great fit, so-so finish
These fit the gun snuggly, which is good. Take your time when installing, it takes a knack and a tap! Once installed, there are some places where the wood doesn't exactly match my 649 frame. Whether that is smith's fault or these grips - who can say? I got these to replace the rubber grips on the 649, which broke, and the rubber are no good for concealed carry anyway. I haven't shot it yet but am anticipating pain with 357! These are strictly 2 finger grips. I may end up sanding off some of the more angular edges to make it more pleasant with the hot rounds.

First pair a bust, second pair is very nice. Third pair a bust again.
Production quality seems to be inconsistent with these. But, thanks to Amazon's amazing return/replace policy, the second set came quickly and fit/looked perfect. I would call this a fluke, but I ordered another set in walnut that I'm returning for the same poor production issue. Both halves were shaped very differently, with one being thicker than the other and contoured differently. I bought these for the S&W 642 and 43C and they work for both J frames.
